I understand where he’s coming from as an admin, but trying to force traffic into sub-forums that nobody reads only kills the threads that get moved.

Sometimes on old misc I would purposely post political or sports threads in the main section. This was strictly done for the audience. R&P is home to a bunch of unhinged lunatics who typically don’t leave that section. Sports was a completely dead sub-forum. No point.

Main Misc is where the community lives. The best way to generate discussion and engagement is to post there. This is especially true for high profile events like the World Cup.

he should just archive those dead subforums and remove them no one wants to post in a dead forum or go past them every time viewing this page . same problems on the old forums dead sub forums & dead pinned topics .
