I think he’s just a bullshit artist.

Bob Lazar invented a pretty good grift in the 80s before his claims could be researched by amateurs on the internet. Back then, he’d call into Coast to Coast AM or give magazine interviews and his nerdy eloquence was enough to convince normies.

But the more you look into his story, the more you realize Bob is essentially a conman. The claim that he “predicted” element 115 before it was ever discovered is laughable. Even high school students know the periodic table is constantly being expanded when scientists synthesize new elements and unassigned atomic numbers are reserved for these discoveries. Apparently an article about this was published in Scientific American just months before Lazar went public. Furthermore, In the case of 115, the real one (Moscovium) behaves nothing like Lazar described. It’s an unstable element with a half life of 0.65 seconds, hardly enough to power interstellar travel.

The other claim that he was a physicist and the government scrubbed his MIT records is even more absurd. Could the alphabet agencies theoretically erase someone’s records? Sure. But they’d also have to confiscate every single one of his classmates’ yearbooks, erase their memories and that of his professors, and make sure no photograph, paper o reference of Bob Lazar the MIT student exists anywhere on earth. The guy can’t even supply his own degree.

The only credible evidence is that he was employed by Los Alamos at one time, but he wasn’t a physicist. He was a contractor.

As interesting as the Area 51 & UFO claims are, Bob Lazar is a pretty easy case to debunk. His marriage was on the rocks in the late 80s and he was about to lose everything in a divorce. So this eccentric guy almost certainly made up the UFO story for money and publicity. I mean this is the same dude who got arrested for putting cameras in the women’s bathroom at a Nevada brothel, so not exactly a trustworthy person. It blows my mind that so many people including Joe Rogan still believe him in 2026.

On his latest episode of JRE he talked about when he got caught with his friends viewing the test flights on Wednesday nights. He said something along the lines of, my superior called me and informed me to meet him at a different starting point for the day. We went to a different base and on the car ride there he mentioned when we said keep a secret, we ment don't go telling everyone. Then the General or whoever was in charge at the different base yelled at him and then he left. ZERO fucking chance in hell they let a guy get as deep and see what Bob saw, know he will tell people and then just release him. Apparently he was fucked with my the letter agencies as a threat, but still, biggest national secrete and you let a blabbermouth walk free? Call it treason and have him stay in jail just so he doesn't talk. So many options and walking right up to a newspaper reporter is what they chose LMAO.

Just fkin LOL. Did Bob get “migraines” again every time Joe asked a question about physics?

I mean, I get it’s entertaining to listen to and I want to be leaf, but it’s weird to see a person who was basically exposed 30 years ago now being taken seriously.
