SoutheastBeast's Official Summer 2026 Cutting Log

Been way too casual with my diet lately so as winter is nearing it's end (at least in the south) it's time to dial in. I'll post my weekly diet plan ITT, full breakdown of meals and macros. We're doing a 12-week cut with the goal of getting to single digit bodyfat. 12 weeks would put an end date at April 19th but if I can reach single digits sooner that's also great.

I'll dexa scan once I feel like I'm getting closer to being single digits. Not gonna bother dexa scanning right now cause I'm fat as fuark and I don't really care to know the starting point percent.... but probably like 15-17% if I had to guess and I like to be lean so das not it mane.

Week 1 starts Monday Jan 26th. Here's the plan this week:

MEAL 1
6 oz of chicken breast
100g of broccoli
200g of roasted golden potatoes

Macros: 540 cals, 64 protein, 6 fat, 68 carbs

MEAL 2
3 Large eggs

Macros: 210 cals, 18 protein, 15 fat, 0 carbs

MEAL 3
250g Greek yogurt
80g Oatmeal

Macros: 450 cals, 35 protein, 5 fat, 65 carbs

MEAL 4
112g Lean ground beef
1 Keto burger bun

Macros: 215 cals, 33 protein, 8 fats, 16 carbs

MEAL 5
80g Oatmeal

Macros: 300 cals, 12 protein, 5 fat, 54 carbs

MEAL 6
4 oz Salmon
100g Asparagus
100g Zucchini
1 Keto burger bun

Macros: 325 cals, 37 protein, 16 fat, 24 carbs

MEAL 7
Whey protein shake
1 Banana
150g Blueberries

Macros: 295 cals, 26 protein, 2.5 fats, 47 carbs

MEAL 8
2 Large eggs
61g Rice
40g Frozen peas and carrots

Macros: 410 cals, 19 protein, 10 fats, 72 carbs

Total Daily Macros: 2745 cals, 244 protein, 67.5 fat, 344 carbs

Don't expecting to drop too much on Week 1 with this many calories. Goal is to get back into a plan, settle in, and stick to it. Likely going to drop Meal 5 entirely heading into Week 2 but we will see.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

This weekends snow storm caused me to miss an extra day of lifting than I wanted. I also didn't do as much cardio as I would like, so in total the training wasn't perfect like I would have wanted.

The nutrition was fine in Week 1. Ate everything I outlined and didn't skip any meals. The only change happened on the extra day off that I couldn't lift, which was yesterday, I cut out meals 2 & 5 which total around 500 cals.

Week 1 was mostly about getting back into a rhythm following a plan and never skipping anything. For Week 2 I'm dropping Meal 5, everything else is the same.

This will probably be a pretty boring thread week to week if I'm honest. I actually thought I'd just be in here by myself so I repped those of you who bothered showing interest.

In all honesty I normally only have 6 meals so this is a bit more spread out even for me.

As for 6 meals, I just like to eat more frequently and spacing this way lets be eat every 2-3 hours or so. If I fall behind I can and will push them together. I wouldn't say there's any sort of benefit other than I stick to smaller more frequent meals well.

I checked out from this place for about a month

Cut was going good and I had dropped down to about 175 lbs (starting around 182 lbs... though at least a couple of that was some water weight)

But.... I got sick yesterday and have been eating shit now between these last two days. Had to go on a business trip for 3 days Monday-Wednesday this week and I ended up getting no sleep plus the airplane travel - still hit the workouts and diet plan through it all and briefly thought I might fight off the sickness Thursday and Friday morning, then it went to shit around middle of the day Friday

So that's the update with this. I doubt I'll stick to a diet very well these next couple days. I never do when I get sick so I'll just have to reset once I'm better and go from there.

That's ok. As an oldcel whose tour is over anyway I'm not exactly facing any important deadline with this cut.

It's been a bad 2.5 days

Starting to feel a little better. I think I'll get back on the diet tomorrow but I probably won't go back to the gym yet. Guessing I'll need one more day to feel good enough for that.

It's going ok, but I've had better cuts if I'm truly honest about it. Haven't dexa scanned myself so don't have an accurate reading where I sit at the moment. I originally wanted to get back around 9%, don't know if I'll go that far or not.

Right now I'm gonna keep cutting for another month, then decide if I want to run a test only cycle around start of June.

What dose would you run for a test only cycle? That's all I've ever done. Most I've ran is 400/wk and felt like I got great gains. I've known people running grams of multiple compounds that barely looked like they lifted.

So much fake shit out there at the moment, I got a couple of vials from my old supplier of test e because she ran out of test c and 200mg/ml came back dosed at 50mg/ml after I felt like shit for 8 weeks and had it tested. Switched sources and back on test c; 200mg/wk and making great gains.

If you can't get into a clinic for TRT, EnhancedInfo in IG is a great resource for info and he has access to a number of suppliers who are legit and selling legit gear.

I'll blast at 500 or 600/wk..... If you get good gains at 400/wk though there's no reason to add more. You won't necessarily see an extra bump in gains from it which people don't seem to understand. If growth is happening at 400/wk people think they'll get twice the gains at 800/wk, but that's not how it works. If you're getting great gains at 400 just keep running 400 imo.

I really let my bloodwork guide the dose though. I'm generally targeting 3500-4000 ng/dL when I blast. I will admit I've never tried running just 400/wk so I can't say if I would hit this range or not with that dose. When first starting I read that 500/wk was a safe noobie cycle so that's where I started things.

When I ran Deca I would drop the Test to 300/wk and did 300/wk of the Deca so even then I wasn't exceeding 600/wk of compounds but I haven't run Deca in a long time and I only did it the one cycle.

TRT I'll run at 90/wk

I also want to point out I've been binge eating since Saturday for 3 days straight now so I'll probably have to put in more weeks than expected to damage control this before blasting again.

I have to be honest I don't know how anyone is obese because I deserve to be and yet most people think I'm jacked and lean. Had two separate dudes come up and tell me I'm jacked at Zaxbys on Saturday when I crawled out of my dark house to work on my obesity goals that day.

For the record I'm still personally disgusting with myself even if no one else seems to be.

I was 240lbs and around 20% bodyfat last year from force feeding, and I told someone at the powerlifting gym I go to that I was cutting weight. He said "how? You're all muscle"

What's your bodyfat now? Are you willing to post pics? I think I'm down to around 12 but that's just a guess. I uploaded a picture to an ai estimator and it said 10% so I added 2% to be safe. I could be more.

I think I'm like 15%

Problem with posting pics is with how I yo-yo there are some pics you'll think I look great because I've stripped out the water weight and others where I look terrible if I just got done eating like shit --- and it's like a 2-week difference in time in reality but I can look vastly different.

I took this pic beginning of February. If I were to take a pic right now though I would look like shit from the last 3 days of terrible eating but give me 2 weeks to damage control I'd be able to take another pic looking like this, or very close to it. It's all just a product of bouncing back and forth with excess water weight to getting back on track and evening back out.

But for the pic, in my case I think the abs are deceiving because I have pretty large ab muscles that I think show at higher levels of bodyfat. So appearance alone you might think I look lower, but when I'm in the 10% range I have more visible veins in my lower abs and obliques. I haven't seen those veins in a long time sadly.

Edit:

I decided to find a pic estimate like you did and went here

https://powercrafttraining.com/body-analysis

Told me I'm in the 12-15% range..... probably true based on pic above -- I lean toward 15% personally.

It also told me..... "Strengths include well-defined abs and developed arms. Primary areas for improvement are the chest and back width to create a more balanced and imposing physique. Current leanness is excellent for showing definition."

It tried to also estimate my age as 25-30 LMAO

Lol fuk if that's 15% then I guess I'm closer to 17-18%

Edit: I got 12-15% on the ai thing you used but I used an older pic of my back. I look like a twink compared you but I'm 215lbs lol

That's where pics are deceiving. I'm definitely smaller than you. I'm 5'10'' and weight ranges in the 170-180 frame.

When I ran Deca I got all the way up just shy of 200 lbs but I was not at all lean. It was a true bulk. Got strong as fuck and definitely worth it to add some muscle at the time but I don't want to do that again. Now that I'm older I stay in my 170-180 range with no real aggressive bulks or cuts, though I do keep telling myself I want to aggressively cut but just have had fuck all discipline to follow through properly.

For real though, I think the big ab muscles make me appear leaner in the pic than I am. My vascularity isn't as good as when I'm in the 10-12% range. These are things you just can't see in a pic so people that see me probably don't think I look that much different even though I am for sure fatter.

Yeah i see what you're saying. It's impossible to really judge based off a single picture.

Alright we're gonna try this shit all over again since I've basically been a massive failure going back and forth never making any real progress for like 4 months when I made this thread now.

I'm gonna post ITT every day.

5/24 plan:
-Leg workout in the morning
-Stairmaster and abs in the afternoon
-Eat 2080 calories

I demand a week long ban if I screw up on the planned diet any day going forward. The training I never plan off days, I tend to take them when I wake up as needed but its not really a problem so no ban for missing any of those. But the diet, yeah I want to be banned if I don't follow it exactly. There's no excuses for deviating there, it's all mental.
