Our O-line is not getting any younger and salaries aren't getting smaller. Need to make a run in the next 2 years IMO.

I agree. Jamal Adams is NASTY and we need somebody like him. Win now mode time to make the necessary moves. Wish Prescott could just sign the tag or accept a lesser salary, less than 35 but more than 25.. make him happy, and that offense could be great.

Just the defense now, it would be BIG if we get Gregory back.

I agree, they aren't financially built for the long haul assuming they get Dak signed. Get Adams now before he hits the market, make a run for a title.

If we get Gregory back, and Aldon Smith is 80% of what he used to be, we can have a nasty pass rush. Obviously big "ifs"

LOL.. those big "ifs". We do this just about every year. Forgot about Aldon Smith. Fukk Cowboys have good potential this upcoming season. Besides the previous years now we have

-A better head coach than clapper, with a good record with the Packers to show for it
-Complete WR and RB corps
-Complete LB Corps with Vander Esch possibly returning
-More bodies with proven record, not just practice squad guys for defensive line(poe, mccoy, smith)
-Kickers that wont miss their field goals (hope that with McCarthy we ain't settling for field goals)

Yeah DB is a major, major issue for us. At least they signed Ha-Ha, while not overwhelming, atleast has a proven starting track record. He played good ball under McCarthy. Hopefully Jordan Lewis takes another step forward and the address the situation tonight.

Just waiting for the preseason hopes and dreams to be shattered though, lol. Surviving the 10 years of Coach Clapper is going to come with some PTSD.

The good thing, McKinney and Delpit still on the board. I hope they go with either of them. We would be good on safeties with Dix being a back up instead of relying on him as a starter!

I'm not too knowledgeable on the remaining CBs though.

We in for a long offseason already, Dak possibly holding out on participating in team activities. No bueno. I do see how we will be when the season starts, Garrett's tenure did add ptsd and stress that we never should've had lmao

If they can't get an agreement with Dak before the season, I won't be surprised if we have a long haul. Dak can easily sit out...it would not affect his market at all going into free agency. QB's will always get paid by someone.

Yeah I'm good with the pick too. Can't pass a player like him up. It would have made more sense if they let Cooper walk and kept Byron, but they couldn't have predicted Lamb would be available at 17.

For all of u saying take safety in the second. We already upgraded safety. We got rid of bum heath and picked up Clinton dix. However we lost our #1 corner. We do not have a # 1 corner. Nothing even close. We have to take corner. Yes I love mckinney but we have to have corner. U need like 5 solid corners in today’s day and age of the passing game. What if chido or Lewis get hurt?

Ha-Ha isn't that great dude. He got torched routinely last year. It's a slight upgrade, but definitely not a comfortable one. They can go either CB or S and they are both equally needed IMO.

Im willing to bet they are banking on Gregory or Smith working out. Huge hole with Quinn gone, and they didn't address it at all unless they snag someone at 51.
