Josh Allen is the chalk pick, but gotta think its the right one.
Mahomes minus Hill in a tougher division. Herbert declining Keenan Allen and the tough division. Rodgers with no Adams.
Allen gets the Jets and Dolphins 4 games.

Its going to be Patrick Mahomes. He has the narrative on his side(lost his best weapon, in the toughest division). He had a 'down' year and people arent giving him the same god status so he has something to prove.
They are still going to win a lot of games and if he puts in a season close to his others they will win division and without hill its an easy argument.

I think the bills are vastly overrated going in to this season and will get exposed with a much harder scheduled.

I never bought into Josh Allen hype, idk. Just doesn't seem to have the mental maturity. He's not there yet. I'll always remember when they were getting eliminated by Chiefs in the playoffs (the first time, not the second time) and Josh allen threw the ball at one of the Chief's tackle's head and basically started a brawl. Just felt like a childish move, something Mahomes would never do. At least he lost with grace this year.

Voting for Josh Allen, he's improving every year. I think he tears it up this year.
I believe both Rodgers and Mahomes take a small step backwards without Tyreek and Davante.

That's hardly something to scoff about. Bills have zero running game, Allen is the entire offense on that team. And playoffs are what matters. He was a monster in the playoffs and if he carries over from that he's going to have an incredible season.
I do like the Derek Carr as a darkhorse pick however. He's in a great spot to live up to his full potential.

Yes, he was still good last year I didnt say he fell off a cliff. But he got zero mvp votes. He wasnt that good, he got stats but his game to game performance was not consistent. the fact is he was not better in 2021 than 2020. Was just correcting the record cause so many people are blinded by the two playoff games and forget everything else that happened last year.
And lol Carr. Yes he's in a better situation but you really think he's good enough to win a lot of games and put up numbers doing it in that division? Nah cuz.

MVP is a QB who wins a lot of games and puts up numbers doing it. Raiders are not coming out with a lot of wins in that division

Mahomes dropped out of the top spots for me with Hill leaving..
1. Josh Allen
2. Herbert
3. Derrick Henry if they decide a QB ain't going to win it for once in a long ass time

As much as I (along with the numbers and results) don't see his style producing winning football in the playoffs...... could absolutely see it being Lamar. They didnt take care of him this offseason, so this is a contract year for him. He will ball out this regular season with a chip on his shoulder.

Voted burrow. Mahomes and Rodgers lost big weapons, Allen could be the favorite. Anyone that isn’t a QB is probably not getting it. I don’t see Herbert getting it either.
Burrow played his 1st full season last year and played fearless with one of the absolute worst offensive lines in the league. They should get better there, and he has good weapons. Bengals could bengal, but that’s what I’m going with

Brady could easily get it because it's his farewell tour.
Burrow and Allen are probably my favorites from a performance/team perspective.
If the Chargers win the AFC West (big if) I can see Herbert winning it.
If my life depended on it, I'm not betting against Brady.

Voted Herbert cuz lowkey they have a VERY solid well rounded team.
Allen I think getting too much hype/expectation.
Don't know how solid Chiefs are going to be.
Don't think Rodgers can get it done with the rookies he is throwing to.
