happens all the time and at every game
simple clue when you know a fight will break out by you.
- you are sitting near at least 2 drunk LOUD individuals. Sometimes same team fans, but more than likely opposing team fans.. they will eventually throughout the game start taking jabs at each other as their team starts winning/losing and then a fight will break out once personal verbal attacks happen and it will happen
the fights are usually over before you suspect anything if you are sitting in the other side of the stadium.
I don't get it, it costs so much money to attend these games, but they just pay to look for a fight instead. It reminds me of the south park episode with randy fighting someone at every little league game "thought this was america"

I was at a Browns vs. Ravens game a couple years ago, at halftime the bathroom was wall to wall of people in lines. Some dude in a Ravens jersey finally made his way to the urinal and someone from the back of the line yelled "I GOT 20 BUCKS FOR WHOEVER PISSES ON THE RAVENS FAN" and like 3 or 4 guy walked straight up to the guy and started unzipping their pants. I walked right out but I could hear all hell breaking loose in the room as I made my way out.

I've gone to opposing stadiums wearing visitor gear and never had a problem, but not talking sh*t.
Lambeau Field the people let you park on their lawns and use their bathrooms (not kidding).
SoFi vs the Chargers but it was like a home game for us.

1985 EC1 final (what is now the Champions League) in Brussels between Liverpool and Juventus
a lot of Italians in a what should've been a neutral stand next to the Liverpool fans
Liverpool fans attacked that stand, panic broke out and everyone ran towards the opposite side where a wall collapsed causing a pile of fans suffocating
39 people died

most of the time it goes well but sometimes it does get nasty and those visitors act surprised lmfao
imo it's asking for it, actually srs
to be fair I'm talking about my experience in European football, probably the US is totally different in that regard

The playoff game I went to there, there was a Ravens fan that sat right in front of me that came from Maryland. It was freezing and he was wearing jean shorts, flip flops and a ravens sleeveless t-shirt. Said he made the trip because "no matter what, the Steelers or the Chiefs have to lose which is a win in his book" lmao. He was an opposing fan of both teams and everyone loved that dude. That guy should have left her at home in the dog pen where she belongs. I've never understood taking/going with people to games when you know they are like this.
