Got cheated on. Feel depressed

Havent posted in ages but here we go. I was having a great summer/autumn, got a good job and my Gf was amazing but 2 and a half weeks ago it happened...... she cheated on me. She was out at her friends bday(on gear) and she made out with an ex(she called it situationship). She called crying etc which is useless to me. Broke it off. I am seriously depressed as we had just booked flights etc and were going to spend xmas and my bday together I dont have much family so it would have been nice to spend time with someone.

We were supposed to have clear the air talks after work today but now she cancelled and feels sick. I dont buy it obviously. I have tried dating other people last week but man i just feel empty I thought this was the one. Im so sad.

I really want a family but i dont think im going to make it. Growing up my family wasnt great so it really depresses me that i might not get the chance to have my own.

Sucks man but thats basically where we're at civilization wise. Everything has gone to chit and it is super hard to find someone compatible to build something with. Just try to enjoy life and ready yourself for the dark times that are coming, men will soon have to be men again and fight for the return of the old days where people could find partners and build healthy families.

You've been together how long? Is this long distance or close? The contact with her ex is a huge red flag if they don't have kids/assets together and have some professional/parental reason to maintain contact.

If you're still in the dating phase it's time to move on, and her canceling the "talk" is just icing on the cake and clearly stating where you stand in this situation(ship).

She did you a favor and saved you years of bullchit and suffering.

This will never happen. It's downhill until we erase ourselves as a species.

Its cringe but i want closure. her mindset changed so quickly - she bought flights etc for the both of us and now shes cold wtf. Just makes me feel worthless. Feel terrible. Need solid reasons. This is a first for me so my mind is going crazy

about 7 months. Close distance - like we used to spend 4 days week at each others places. Her ex lives pretty damn close. It was her mates bday at a bar and he was there. They werent talking(thats legit the truth)for about a year and a bit. The thing is i cant comprend the disrespect. Its insane to me. not sure how i can trust anyone again.

All my mates are giving the same advice as you guys but its tough AF. Really struggling. Just want to bulid a future with someone. Thats it.

I have had enough random sex in my life already. Its depressing at this point.

here's the thing OP.

It's gonna suck. majorly. and closure won't make a difference. You'll think it helped, then a week or two will go by and you'll have more questions, or need more closure. Only you can give yourself the closure needed by telling yourself you're going to move on and have no need to worry about her cheating ass again.

The good news is she cheated, which makes it much easier to disconnect vs "I'm not feeling it anymore" and leaving you wondering what you did wrong.

Bear through it, it'll suck, but you'll be better off in the end because you won't have ended up with a cheater. I would hit up some close friends and see if any of them have plans they can include you in for the holidays. I bet some of them don't have anything to do for the holidays either.

If I were you I'd be happy that she did it early on and told you, there are tons more bros that dont get told and/or they continue cheating. It's too bad she was a sloot but that's it, it's over. If you ever got back with her she would never respect you anyway.

Dont listen to cucks like these, while yeah, things are changing and I'd say women are becoming more feminazi-ish.. If you are even half decent looking with a good personality you wont have any trouble finding a good chick- theres just as many beta males to match these feminazi's. Society is definitely cucked but thats a different issue and shouldnt be an issue if youre not an ugly dork.

If you and the women you date are going to keep being a part of the party scene, things will likely happen on nights out where lines are crossed.

I've forgiven someone for a drunk makeout in my 20s (and my exes have forgiven me for them too). If that's all it was - this is still an option as we're not talking about sleeping with someone or a makeout with an emotional affair mixed in (though it being with an ex might muddy the waters).

Nowadays I just wouldn't bother with a party girl for multiple reasons.

If you make bad choices in the women you choose to date seriously that's what happens.

Just lol at making any girl that does drugs your GF.
There is but one path....we kill them all.

Both these points are good.

OP, you say you're 29 so you have plenty of time. This obviously sucks but its great that it happened now rather than later.

In the future, maybe you wanna date more homebody types that don't want attention/going out all the time, and can keep themselves to two drinks when they go out.

Anyways, I'm sorry for the pain you're going through right now. Delete her from social media and trash any gifts or indirect reminders of her. Out of sight - Out of Mind.

Then dive yourself into a new sport/hobby, but preferably exercise, while you continue to hang with your friends.

You're gonna find someone better with these life lessons under your belt, m8.

Next time you find a girl, bring up your last relationship and ask whether she's cheated before or at least ask about some past relationships to see how she has treated past boyfriends, and then gauge her reaction. Yea, it may make you seem weak/insecure but I believe Once a Cheater Always a Cheater and I've never been cheated on because I've stayed clear from those types. I also put great importance on whether her parents divorced and whether she had a lacking relationship with her father.

Put her out of your mind for good, she certainly wasn't thinking of you when she was cheating, don't waste your time caring about someone that doesn't give a shiet about you. It's wasted energy.

Be glad she showed this side of herself only 7 months in. You weren't living together or anything that would be difficult to get out if. If she says her ex was a "situationship" then that's what she considered you to be as well. Zero chance you can say you're committed to one guy but say that nonsense about an ex.

Cut all ties, go no contact, go hit the weights hard, and find a girl who doesn't get high then go to parties.

This is what happens when you get attached to a sloot and ignore the red flags & you don't leverage your demands/boundaries when the

"what are we? Conversation takes place.

Dude you never commit to girls, unless they push for a relationship & in that moment you state & make your boundaries very very clear.

01. She should not be going to bars/clubs without you

02. You absolutely cannot allow her to have any form of contact with exes

03. You should not be dating girls who use drugs

04. She should ditch all her male friends

If she doesn't accept your conditions, she remains a plate cvm dumpster, and never gets your commitment.

And it's likely you ignored significant red flags

Just think about Will Smith getting cheated on, if it can happen to him it can happen to everyone. Also, I learned every chick will eventually cheat, it's in their nature. Just make sure you go no contact and NEVER speak to that hoe ever again.

At least this happened now and not after years of marriage and a kid. Move on and don’t look back , as one day you’ll realize this wasn’t as big a deal as you thought .

Back in the early 90’s I myself lost the love of my life . I was dating this sloot that had that perfect girl next door look , and only had a body count of one.
Things were going great I thought , right up until I was invited to come and watch her compete in a company curling tournament.
Her butter face coworker showed up with her Chad fiancée, and once she seen she had pulled a Chad it was over .
I was read the riot act right then and there , told me she wanted a tall dark and handsome guy lol .
So don’t sweat the little stuff and move on

Sloots gon' Sloot. This $hit happens way too often, just be glad she was honest about it so you could next the fck out of sloot.

Some hot fitness broad has been after me for the past month, and we're both married with kids. Scandalous sloots are everywhere. The more I ignore, the more aggressive she becomes. Yikes.

Back in the early 90’s I myself lost the love of my life . I was dating this sloot that had that perfect girl next door look , and only had a body count of one.

Most of us have all been there, losing someone we think was the love of our life. And weve had to move past it whether we want to or not... and almost always youll look back and be like, how the hell did I feel that bad about this person.

The truth is its gonna be really ****ing hard for a while. Your brain craves the pleasure and dopamine release from having this person, its exactly the same reward center involved in drug use. The "i just need closure" excuse is your mind playing tricks on you to get another hit of this person to feed its addiction.
Nothing good will come from opening the wound again just like one more pack of ciggs will not help you quit. Force yourself to move on, pretend shes dead, delete everything from your social media, leave no ability to check up with her or contact her. Youll be pressed on those lonely nights, dont even give yourself a chance to reach out.
PM if you need someone to talk to. Ive been through my fair share of these and sometimes just having someone to talk to is what you need

It’s cool man. You’re only upset because you still believe in this “the one” Disney fairy tale chit.

Girls are cool, but they’re not our soulmates or some chit. They’re just someone to fuk and enjoy some intimacy with. So when your turn ends with one, good. That’s just an opportunity to sub her out for a new girl

New is better. Go enjoy your vacation and pull some bishes
