Firstly, no man finds your career or earning potential sexy and that's not because of insecurity. Our drivers are physical appearance but really what we're attracted to are the signs of youth and health because that means the woman is more likely to survive child birth and produce strong offspring over a longer period. It's evolutionary biology and all the bitching in the world won't change it. We don't care because we know that it's our role to provide and protect through that childbirth. Yes it's great to have a smart, sexy woman - it's the ideal but not some woman that puts her career above her own and her family's happiness.

What's more, it's widely known that women date across and up competence hierarchies which means if you earn more than your male partner, you're actually less likely to be attracted to him or stick with him. Sure there are exceptions, but by and large women are not happy with men who make less than them because it contradicts one of their fundamental biological drivers.

I've covered the second part of your post in detail regarding your notion of a "domestic slave" but I'll even go one step further. Numerous blind, large scale studies have also shown that women find men LESS attractive when they see them undertaking domestic chores. They've done those studies and had women rate the men for attractiveness and the results show a substantial gap when one group of women watch a man doing something considered masculine and another group watching the exact same man doing domestic chores.

If any man is reading this whilst in relationship counselling and you're being advised that maybe your wife or partner will be more sexual if you do the washing up so that she's less tired - stop seeing that therapist and go do the exact opposite. Take up something masculine and dangerous - you can't negotiate genuine desire and you won't get laid with passion because you did the vacuuming. Your relationship is already on the way out, if you want to save it she needs to see you as a man and if it flames out you'll know for the next one.

I'll agree with your last point, it is about complimentary lives and putting family first but it's a damn sight better doing that in the fashion that our complementary, evolved roles indicate. A family should be about providing the best possible future for the children.

Only feminist women don't do that, they put themselves first, they tell women that careers are more important and women can have it all without pain and sacrifice. This ideal of putting toddlers into childcare so a woman can get back to work and not lose out on her career is damaging as hell to society, including women, and they've essentially trotted out that all masculinity is toxic, raised a generation of men by single mothers with no male role model. They've told them masculine behaviour is toxic as **** and in the next breath tell them to man up, accusing them of being childish or effeminate. ****ing hell, divorce rates are higher than ever with ~80% being initiated by women whilst we see women rate 80% of men as unattractive on dating apps, that should tell you everything you need to ****ing know about feminist ideas and how implementing them into society has made a mess. .

By every metric women are actually exceeding men in society in terms of education, income and careers and yet multiple large scale studies have shown they are more unhappy now than they have ever been in our history - how strange that trying to be a man and ignoring their own worth and value in the most important role humanity has as mothers results in women being miserable on an industrial scale.

There's a difference between "being loved" and actually having your mother consistently present during childhood. Where did you go while your mother was working? Shoved into daycare or to bond with a temporary nanny?

"Acadamic advantage" is mostly bs too. Your parents wasted money on expensive tutors when the main determinant of success is IQ (provided you have the baseline opportunity). My parents paid literally nothing for my entire education and I'm now in the top few percentile of income for my age group.

I guess the extra money is good to pay $ towards a corrupt American college system.

Thread is reminding me why I shouldn't pursue certain career women and I should just think "don't care, had sex" about it.

The times I've dated older women they have been weird/off for whatever reason. Careerists seem to believe that their accomplishments are 'sexy' in a sort of way. Don't get me wrong. I love passion and ambition but some either are very dry in personality (i.e. talk about solely work) or try and challenge you in some way. Granted these women I mentioned were well educated, Master's or PhD's and I have neither, but I am very knowledgeable in my field and have succeeded but I don't think that it is something you can use to connect with someone. I've tried to pull them out of that world somehow but it didn't work out.

My personal experience dating a doctor, nurse, veterinarian, and a woman who worked for the state in public health. All except for one was older than me.

Actually come to think if it I sorta punch high with my romantic pursuits lol.

A nurse is punching high? lol. Most nurses want to find a man and quit.

Totally agreed. Not all women but maybe the ones I've dated.

For example these are open ended questions:

"What sort of goals do you have right now in life or something you haven't done?"

If it is career centric then something is off. Careers we derive purpose from but our career isn't our purpose...if that makes sense. Working in my industry feeds my intellectual curiosity and allows me to influence change, but I've had the experience of losing jobs before and knowing that there's more to me than a title.

That's a great question and to give my ex credit, she asked a similar one within the first few dates: "Where do you see your life in 5 years?"

I prefer yours: "What do you most want in life right now?" If it's a career answer, then that's a red flag for me.

Seems that the women you date revolves around the health field... lol I agree with your last statement but with that question, it depends on who you ask. If you ask a young woman who just graduated from college, then I can understand if she said that her goals are career centric but if you ask a woman who is financially stable and has other stuff already (house, property, etc) then her answer might be something else. In the end, if you don't like her answers then she is not the one for you.

Having a degree is great but you don't need one to accomplish things or be successful. Maybe those women that you date just love talking about and listening to themselves talk about their careers. If you think they have dry personality then stay away from engineers..

From your experiences if you think that it is because of their age, then just go for young ones. Pick an age range and stick to it.

Hard to date someone who is all about their job... but they still want you to do things for them. I found that out, screw it.
I never try anything I just do it!

it really is. in the case of OP, the chick he was smashing was a doctor.....which in reality, they are all about their job. long hours, on call, staying on top of their profession, etc, all time consuming. it's more or less her life is being a doctor and her alter ego is being a chick. kind of like how batman pretends to be bruce wayne
