its not all that different from real life though. Women dont magically change in real life, they still are attracted to the same things.

well most tinder chicks are just looking to hook up and you are attractive so I could see that. if they just want to get nailed it doesnt matter how boring he is, and this would be true IRL.

What most miscers dont see though is that this also leads to more dating and relationship opportunities in general, so the good looking lame/boring guy will still net out ahead of an interesting but much less attractive dude most of the time in terms of quality and quantity of women

I kill it in real life and do horrible on tinder. I've actually hooked up with girls who never matched me on tinder but in real life they were all about it. Girls definetly are looking for the elite of The elite online (which there are few of)

Bros, it's about maximization. On all aspects of your looks and character. Then take what you can get.


If it's still nothing, you got more work to do. It's really that simple. Unless you're a legit 1/10 with a deformity - you can findsomeone.


Not everyone is blessed with good looks. Most aren't. Just be happy you don't have ALS or cancer and quit crying about this looks chit so much. Hate to do the whole "toughen up" thing bc that's not me and many know im ok with being vulnerable but that same vulnerability is recognizing reality as objectively as possible - about dating, looks, and any factor in between.

Right, we all know that, however I know otaku has an alternative meaning for the thread so we will just have to wait for him.

I mean all I would have had to tell him is how I went on a Tinder killing spree back in 2014 and nobody would doubt it. But I'm sure he has further plans.

I am aware I am not top tier, and on top of that I am short. I make my money on being witty and unafraid. But maybe he is just trying to see how a white boy with decent looks does in his area. I'm not sure what else it's accomplishing either tbh, he just raised the question about using me for Tinder in a different topic so I saw nothing wrong with that. So now we will see where he wants to go with it. He's a smart dude so I'm sure it'll be interesting.

The whole point is that in otaku's location, because of factors outside of his control (primarily his race and facial aesthetics), his dating prospects suffers enormously.

While this might not seem controversial, he's faced incredible backlash for emphasizing these factors over temperamental/personality/game/confidence factors. Pondus has been the biggest proponent of the idea that otaku's lack of success is primarily due to his game, even on Tinder. Case in point:

Yea no, the physical barrier (especially on tinder) and race can be hugely detrimental. My point is that thisisa reality, so maximization is the last option.. and then a huge, sad to say but.. cope with reality is necessary. Maybe he's already accepted it and just wants to drive the point into the ground, idk.

But game def helps where looks don't. That isn't really an argument.
