well probably because, the vast majority of people in the world who surpass their mid-20's or reach their 30's without ever having had a relationship before, are almost always guys, men, male.

well come on how often do women approach men in bars or ask men out on dates first or ask for their phone number first? Almost never happens

Women are obviously more selective when it comes to sex and relationships/reproduction, because she pays a much higher price for those things than we men do, and if she makes a mistake she is doomed.

That doesn't mean that men don't choose as well. The more selective you are, the more of a chooser you would be. But the less selective you are, the more options you can choose from.

If you ask me it's much better to not having to be selective and just having the freedom to do whatever you want, than being in the game with a higher risk and by that having to be more selective and responsible.

Been down that road a few times. I won't comment on gender roles, but it was never a good sign.

With that said, I'm not sure how this undermines what I said. Only an extreme beta thirst would lead a man to continue to chase a woman who doesn't know how to chase back. Both that man and that woman will end up unhappy and lonely, even if they're together.

The Game is only for 2 or more players. Whatever you read about picking up girls was written for clueless men, not women, to learn how to "get" women and understand what they're probably going to do. Playing that game with a woman who doesn't "get" men might work for a few bangs, but it eventually fizzles out. Women who "get" men are something entirely different.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

It's true. Women can simply sit at a bar and they can choose from many people that approach them. However that requires sitting at a bar alone which I would think most women would hate.

That's not choosing.

"To choose" by definition means to select something from at least two options.

Rejecting a girl doesn't mean we're going to bed with another.

I dont know why you guys think dating is this automatic thing for women. Do you see how many articles are pushed towards women changing themselves for a man? How many articles are out there about women not veering from the "unspoken rules"? How much pressure society puts on women if we're single? Its not easy. It seems that many here think we walk outside and quality men approach us 24/7 and we dont have any pressure at all in dating. Its bs.

Men do choose lol. A lot of guys here sound really young and like they havent had the opportunity to even do slight choosing. So many of my single girlfriends are insecure af when it comes to men especially now with the whole dating app stuff.

it may not SEEM easy from a womens' perspective, but it is FAR FAR FAR easier than for men. Women only say its hard because its difficult for them to find a guy that meets their requirementsf for just getting to know a guy to on a date with him, which are typically far, far, far more stringent than men. You are making it too hard on yourselves, its not societies fault.

If you a women and not fat, nice, and can carry a decent conversation, you can throw on makeup and a nice dress and pretty much talk to any single guy and land a date. you can go on dating apps and get flooded with messages.

And those messages and approaches include men that are decent, but most women reject them because they don't fit their stringent requirements. that's a a cold HARD FACT. the evidence is in messages sent by men that are rejected by women / number of suitors women have just in real life/etc.

Look at my AVI, I have a job, social circle, no problem talking to woman. But I get continously rejected, with only little success (which is actually normal for most men today). my "equivalent" as a woman (very fit body, social, intelligent, good career) would be batting of men like crazy. this goes for almost any situation

Not sure is srs.

All women have to do is look DECENT and be PRESENT. There literally is nothing else to it.

Last time i checked this is not the case for any man. Let alone the average man.

Would the employer/girl really choose these particular people though, had they not applied/shown interest? Not necessarily, but they're making their decision from a pool of candidates that was presented to them. They are technically choosing who they go with, but very rarely will the employer/girl take more time looking outside the available pool of candidates to find a person that they themselves want. This is especially true if they have already garnered enough interest and have a sizeable pool of candidates that it just isn't worth wasting more time looking for the ideal candidate, in which case they are "settling" for whomever is closest to their preference.

How is it even mathematically possible that only women choose?
No girl is forcing men to date them. The choice has to be mutual.
Even in the job example, you must choose a place to work and they choose workers.
McDonalds can’t choose me to work for them becusee I don’t want to.

Its because they have not grown into men yet.

Some men kiss there first girl at a party and date her for the next 5 years. They aren't men yet but it fell in their lap.

Other men don't get these opportunities/ realise their opportunities, you are probably missing them, If I am at the gym I can tell which girls like me and wouldn't mind me approaching them, some its subtle some its plain obvious. Girls always make the first move, by showing you what they want.

You just have to be confident and believe in yourself.

No I have said some embarrassing wtf things when dating too. I figured I was being myself so why filter? Doesn’t work that way. Also never really been approached irl but do have matches on apps. I quit using apps because they’re full of weirdos. Thing is women tend to be on guard and that may seem like she is pickier but it’s also to protect themselves too.

Women don’t always want the same thing as men. If it’s sex, yeah they have it easier. But if they’re looking for more than that which is emotional connection or commitment then they’re struggling as much as anyone is.

Yes they do it’s not as obvious but if a female isn’t signalling interest through eye contact and body language before first approach you better have superlative social skills to make a connection

This is how I see it, it is only us guys, men, who need to be the ones to learn how to get a date, how to get a girlfriend, a girl doesn't need to learn how to get a date or get a boyfriend, because simply put, how does a girl need to learn how to get a date or get a boyfriend when she doesn't have to initiate anything, she doesn't have to do the approaching and asking out, planning and setting up dates, leading the interaction, escalating or progressing things, going in for the first kiss, escalate to sex, etc. it simply "just happens" for them? That's sure what it looks like.

Because typically the way you learn in life is by "doing", "applying", you won't get better at playing a piano, or a certain sport, martial art, if you don't practice regularly, and since all girls have to do is pretty much just dress up and look good, and just stand there, just be passive, they don't really have to take any social actions on their part, because they don't have to be the ones to start conversations, ask for the number, ask out, and all the rest you know, etc. So it makes you wonder what they have to learn.

Gold Jacket Luke, who posts here a lot, he even said this quote when discussing his favorite book the Alabaster Girl: "Also girls have it easier when it comes to learning how to talk to and interact with the opposite sex because guys approach girls. It's the masculine role to initiate. So girls learn very young the basics even if they do nothing."

I already understand and realize that life, reality, society was never meant to be fair, sometimes it is hard to accept and deal with, but i'm also posting this because I find it interesting and curious to see how it works when you look at it from the other perspective, from the other persons shoes. Because it truly seems like it is primarily guys who have to learn, I don't see how girls have to learn since they are passive and don't have to take any social action on their part.
What's better being a man and not being approached by lots of women or being a woman but being approached by lots of dudes (lots of guys you don't even like) all week long? As a man you have to do the approaching and get her to become your girlfriend I guess. As a woman you have a passive role just wait for guys to notice you and go on dates. It's almost like being an employer and filtering a bunch of applicants for the position you are hiring. It can get quite exhausting too. On the other hand as a employee you can apply to several different companies.

I think people have a hard time coming to terms that like men, women care about looks as well. So yeah, if a woman is not attracted to the men approaching her shes going to not respond/reject. Personally speaking, yes, I know I miss out on potential mates by rejecting men who are not my ideal physically. Its not ONLY about physical traits but since appearance is always the most apparent...

Plenty of men hit on me, but men that I actually want? No. And it has (well, had because im in a relationship now) nothing to do unrealistic standards.

Also I feel like many (key word here - not all) women who have their **** together arent looking for their equivalent. Theyre looking for someone who has all that and more.

Last time i checked this is not the case for any man. Let alone the average man.
I think it would be if societal rules were different. Women are socialized to believe that approaching a man is desperate and forward. But lets not act like men who are the total package dont get the panties thrown at them. My boyfriends brother for example, gets girls flirting with him all the time.

ya but you will almost never hear of a girl who hits 25, or older and never had a boyfriend before, meanwhile tons of guys are out there like that who are still single and haven't had a girlfriend before.
