UPDATE:

Haven't been able to do much in the last month. Currently working about 80 hours a week doing rotations in the hospital and out in the field. On top of that, I have 2 jobs and just got hired for a 3rd so there's that. But I did manage to take a couple swings at the dating game. Also, follow up test for pee burning crap came back negative so good ol' antibiotics did the trick. Still haven't talked to that chick again and I never will.


Date 1:

-Asked about 24 year old woman training in the emergency medical field
-She was super excited about it
-We go out and get some tea, place is super crowded so we sit in her car talking for an hour
-Tells me about her trip around the world last year, pretty interesting stuff
-Start getting a little closer, she seems super on board with it, giving me long stares as we're talking
-Out of nowhere, she starts crying her eyes out
-Immediately I'm glued to the passenger door and confused as fck
-She keeps crying for about 5 minutes
-I tell her we should head back to where I'm parked
-She agrees, almost hits some lady on the way out of the parking lot, awkward 5 minute drive from there
-I leave after she drops me off
-She tells me through text she's sorry and that she's never connected with someone like that before
-I tell her it's ok, I'm here to listen if she wants to talk about anything
-Never hear from her again


Non-date 2:

-Another chick in the emergecy medical field doing some time in clinicals
-We spend 12 hours together on the floor of the hospital so we mess around and joke for 90% of it as we're doing our jobs
-At the end of the shift she gives me a long hug, blah blah blah
-I notice she leaves her water bottle with my stuff that we had stacked together (she grabbed the rest of her stuff)
-I find her on ******** and tell her I have her water bottle, etc
-She says she wants it back, joking and all that again
-I ask her if she has plans for the evening and I can get it to her
-I get a 'woooooow, yah I do' response and she says just to drop it off at the desk
-She also says how much she appreicates me helping her out for 12 hours and that I'm a good person, teacher, etc lol
-Not going to talk to her again



Classic. Hopefully it's not back to the August-November trend. Luckily I have a half day off every 7 days so I don't have too much time to worry about it.

Facepalmed on the first one man. idk actually know what has happened to women of the more recent generations, but on the whole they are a train-wreck.

Which leads me to the second one. I'm not sure exactly how you worded it, but if you just asked if she had plans for the night, she may have inferred you were asking to netflix and chill. Still, super immature response. But what are you gonna do? These women have 0 role models and any quality women they might look up to are labeled by society as sh!t. I would feel bad for them if there wasn't like books, the internet, and observation to inform them their approach is not quality.

Looking at it now, I guess I should have worded everything completely different. Things I thought of before sending her a message:

-She left her waterbottle but took the rest of her stuff (maybe accident, maybe not)
-She spent 12 hours with me in the busiest ER in the area and kept a good attitude with me
-We did CPR together on someone and even joked around about that
-She followed me around and helped me with probably 30+ patients
-She said 'Please don't go to lunch without me' when I was about to take my 15 minute lunch break (only break in 12 hours)

The last one was where I honestly thought she was interested because she could have taken breaks any time she wanted but she wanted to have lunch with me. 12 hours together, good time throughout, I was 50/50 on whether or not she left that water bottle on purpose but after a couple messages, it really seemed like she was excited to see me and get it back. After I asked her if she had plans so I could get it back to her, it was a complete 180 and that was the end of it. I get the whole thing where friendliness can be mistaken for interest. It happens to all of us. But when you spend 12 hours with someone and have a good time and even do CPR on someone together, I got the impression she was interested. She followed me around everywhere and was super appreciative of all the help I gave her. I even asked patients that had already been treated if they would mind if she came in and did some evaluations, etc. If I didn't do any of that, she would have been lost in that giant place.

In hindsight, she was probably using me to make her 12 hours there easier. I don't even think it was a conscious effort on her part, it's just one of those things where people see a place to fit in and be comfortable and they take it. To top it off, I'm the better looking one out of us. (no brag because I honestly don't think I'm super special and I hate arrogance more than anything) There were a couple nurses hitting on me during the entire shift and I spent my time with this chick instead.

Sometimes things just don't make sense but that's a trend with my dating life over the last year so it's whatever.

I deleted online stuff awhile ago, all my approaches since December have been in person. Also, when I was doing online dating, you have to come on strong or you get lost in the sea of messages. Ask any chick who's a 5/10 or higher to see her message inbox for online dating apps. (srs) You'll see hundreds, if not thousands of messages. You have to get her number fast and set something up fast or you're done. I used that crap for 3 years, I went on probably 60+ dates from online sources, I get how it works. It's all lame too and I probably met 3 women that entire time who were worth a damn and ended up dating 2 of them for some period of months before things didn't work out.

There was a dude I was doing CPR on yesterday who the team saved and brought back even though it didn't look like he was going to make it. That's 1000x more important than my job, my dating 'game' and anything else going on. Anyway, I was going to talk to her for the 30 minutes I usually talk to her before we part ways and as I walk in to the building where I usually see her, I see this dude standing there talking to her. Good looking guy too. She's eyeballing him like the standard look a woman gives when she's crushing on someone.

She sees me walk in, goes completely opposite mode, says hi, looks super embarrassed, asks me how my day is, etc. I don't say too much, just smile and chat for about 10 seconds before going about my business.

Can't hate on the situation. She's really pretty, dude was really good looking. He's young, looks like a frat guy but with more muscle. Completely, indirectly cockblocked me but it's probably for the best as it would have been embarrassing had he been getting a sip of water or something and hear me ask out the chick who's obviously into him and him into her (although it looked like she was far more into him).

Anyway, that was my go-to for the day and the rug got swept out from under my feet on that one.
