Do you know of anyone who totally "beat the system"?

Someone who completely escaped the matrix

Escaped the wageceling at a job/career that couldn't care less about you just to pay bills and (maybe) retire when you're old and well past your prime

Escaped the generic script of buying a house, raise a family, blah, blah, blah

Such as a guy who got a whole bunch of money, disappeared to a tropical island, left humanity behind, and was never heard from again

You could do it in a dignified way, homesteading maxxing with solar energy and high tech small scale farming

Yeah but the farm cost a million dollars and then you have to pay property taxes fuel cost and healthcare

I meant more agroforestry than heavy farming is a LOT cheaper to get going.
