I know a guy who did the same thing. In fact he was one of my best friends way back in the day like 2017.

He got super drunk and had similar types up to his apartment. Anyways the next day he wakes up and goes down to the parking garage to get his car and leave but the car wasn’t there. He went to concierge to check security footage and the footage shows two girls and 3 other guys stealing the car.

Now it gets even crazier. He files a police report and then the next day his car is in the news for a targeted murder. I remember seeing actual pictures of his car on the news broadcast. The girls stole the car, gave it to some guys who then used it to kill someone. They used his car to run the person over.

Anyways long story short he had to have multiple interviews with homicide detectives and he eventually got insurance to get him a brand new car.
