WFH is peak entitlement snowflake culture
I want to work from home in my pajamas
I don't want to get up in the morning, shower, get dressed, and show up to work on time
A 30-45 minute commute is now all of sudden way too difficult (even though I was doing it before WFH started)
I can't handle interacting in person with others at work, I want to hide behind a zoom conference
It parallels how lots of people are so dependent on food delivery
Before it was just pizza and some Chinese food places that would deliver
Now people will literally order delivery from fast food places that have a drive thru because they're too lazy to go themselves and get it
Guaranteed those who are pro-WFH will whine the loudest when AI displaces them or their remote position is transferred to some country where people will do it at a fraction of the cost
Those in favor of WFH are advocating for their own replacement even if they don't realize it yet

GMiscer, I didn't expect to see you up at this hour.
Yeah, you make a good point. WFH can by definition be replaced anywhere with an internet connection.

Work today is done mostly virtually, requiring much less need for office interactions. It used to be to have a meeting you'd sit down face to face - because you had to - now you don't. Never mind that most "meetings" are usually a total waste of time in the first place.
And yes, people are lazy. We are rapidly heading towards a Wall-E culture.

I make 160K/yr as a finance manager WFH and barely do any work. I feel kind of guilty about it.
