Stolen Valor video kinda lulzy

I mean...I think if you are in the military shouldn't be cursing so much. so much of the "effin & jeffin"...seems very wrong but funny.

double lol at the boomer coming up and thanking him for his service. such cringe.

I wouldn't mind dressing up in civil war reenactment uniform and see what happens though (for the SOUTH obvsly)

Pretty sure larping as a soldier is fine up until you try to get something out of it. Then it's a felony.

Plenty of airlines let active military board early, so this could actually get the spastic jail time.

There's a thing called a USO active military and veterans can use in most airports. It's a bit like a lounge but only has snacks, coffee, and soft drinks as far as I know.

Would probably be a bad idea to go in one while playing pretend though. As it's full of actual military. They don't get free drinks on planes as far as I know, just early boarding and maybe a thank you for your service from the odd stewardess.

I'm former military, you cant get into the USO without a common access card, thats the ID he was asking for as its required to be on you in uniform. You get early boarding as active duty and civilians might say thank you for your service, though i have seen a major decline in since george floyd believe it or not lmao.

I checked with @IronManlet and this is a thing, but only with the homosexual male stewardesses.

I have pals in the British military, and even though it's technically just a US thing they can get into a USO with their MOD ID card apparently. But yeah, that makes sense.

At least you get 10% off at Denny's too.

I know a guy who puts a marine corps sticker on his car to help meet girls and gets "thanks for your service" from strangers, and prime parking at stores.

I've heard of them getting upgraded to first class if it's available and people probably buy them food/drinks. but you have to be retarded to try and larp at an Airport of all places.. But Marines have died for his right to larp so there's that...

NATO can get in, i prefer the amex lounge over the uso though. In my opinion if you decided to join, and expect extra credit doing the job you decided to sign up for, youre gay.

Not sure about smaller airlines but at the major ones upgrades are based on status with tiebreakers including things like owning a credit card linked to the airline etc. They aren't giving a vet an upgrade at the expense of someone dropping $50k a year plus on tickets.

On the flipside, I'd also rather pay just under $900 a year to enjoy a fully equipped lounge while not having to surrender my personal freedom and get shot at for a living. Far better deal. Also Amex has booze.

I don't begrudge veteran/military perks though. Seems like a shit job for the pay involved most of the time.

I personally don't care. I don't go out on veterans day to get free stuff and such, but as always, don't hate the player. He* ate the game.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

One time I was in my dress uniform (required by dumb military rules) and someone anonymously paid for me to be upgraded to first class.

The real kicker is that due to those same dumb military rules I wasn't allowed to sit in first class in my uniform so I had to decline the upgrade and sit in coach.

Also lol at stolen valor dorks. I hide my military affiliation whenever possible. Being thanked for my service is soooooooooo cringe. I'm separating at the first possible opportunity.

Lol I use every benefit I can. You can make a couple thousand a year milking the Amex and Chase ecosystems, the free meals on veterans day are sweet too.

Hot female stewardess, especially the older ones, will absolutly throw down for a hot military guy.

Every male stewardess is 150% gay and will also take a load from hot military guys in any one on their holes.

Gd I love humans.

Also, stolen valor is weird but people do a lot weird for social acceptance. People can wear the uniform. There is literally no rule or law stopping that, only feelings. Using your personal feelings to dictate other people’s behavior is definition Karen.

Who gives a fuck what people do?
