So I bought my beautiful million dollar house in Hawaii but the seller told me that for some reason they had the sprinkler system set for 2 minutes every other day. How long should I water it to bring the grass back?

I set it up for 4 minutes everyday. Is that not enough? Really need advice as a new home owner of a million dollar house.
