Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid seems like the perfect daily driver.

it's pretty quick 0-60 in lows 6s, 50mpg and around 33k. being a civic good resale value/practicality too.

depends how soon you selling it. if you selling it in like 5-7 years sure the hybrid battery should still be ok


if you keeping it for 10+ years just stay ICE

problem is civic is CVT now if you dont get manual.


or you could get mazda 3, its traditional torque converter, no hybrid, rather have that if i was keepign it 10+ years

but even mazda has the auto engine shutoff, hopefully someone made a hack to disable it

33k vs 36k before any discounts. Pretty much same thing at those prices.

The Tesla will be virtually zero maintenance over the lifetime of the car except tires and negligible charging costs if you charge at home srs.

I have done the math before I switched to 2 teslas at home, unbeatable value srs.

newer civic hybrid doesn't really have a transmission...more like a ev with a generator
