How much is a mortgage gonna cost for a million dollar house with a $40k down payment?

I put down more than $40k for a house that cost 135k with a 4% interest but a friend of mine keeps bragging about how he paid a million for a house with a 40k down payment with over 6% interest I’m afraid his mortgage may be very very high.

More than that buss boy can afford. Srs, vry srs.

It's the perfect plan for the entity running this subsidy program.

- get some poor to put down their lives savings as a down payment on a home they cannot afford.

- insert clause that said poor cannot move for 20 yrs.

- entity knows the poor cannot make payments in that 20 year time window.

- the poor defaults on loan and the home goes to some juice who gets the home at a reduced rate.

- the poor is financially ruined and lactating partner leaves him to fuk dindus.

Even if he does he’s gonna pay the mortgage over like 3 or 4 times but he probably can’t

He said his mortgage payment is about $3700 a month. He also said his household income is s like $160k a year.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
