How do people show up to a job they don't like every day?

Most jobs are 9-5 Monday thru Friday

That means you probably have to get up by about 7 am or so to get ready to be there by 9 am if you have a commute

Then get back home by about 6 pm or even later if you leave at exactly 5 pm with rush hour traffic and if you stop along the way to run some errands such as shopping

For example' sake, let's say you get home by 6 pm

That essentially give you about 4-5 hours before you need to go to bed to wake up and do it all over again

With the weekend being your reprieve

How do people do that for 30+ years?

If you actually like your job then I guess it would be worth it, but most people don't like their job

They either don't like it or are ambivalent about it

That means most of your life during your prime years is spent doing something you dislike or don't care about

probably 90% will tell you work sucks but it's just a part of life with no way out unless they win the lotto or something. 🤷‍♂️ that's why saturdays are such a big deal...the one day off before people have to start thinking/planning for the next work week.

I commuted from Stamford CT to uptown Manhattan for 11 months. I view it as losing a year of my life. Absolutely awful. 2 hours 40 minutes door to door. I left it for a local job that pays $30,000 less but is 10 minutes away. The trade off is having to have roommates, no money to go out or dating, and nothing saved up. I could never do the 2 hour 40 minute commute again. Don't care what the pay would be.

aside from the stigma, those living with their parents probably have it better...can work any old part time job and get by plus they always have company. some folks live alone in little cramped apartments...going to jobs they don't like and making just enough money to keep the whole thing going. plus most are average looking so no women beating down the door (can't even really afford a woman or kids anyway). modern day slavery.

“Income” has a very specific meaning in this country and is very, very different to (for example) profits or capital gains.

Here is an example of a profit distribution, I’ve posted several of these over the years on various iterations of misc:

By contrast my “income” in any given year (being the net of paper-based depreciation losses, interest liabilities and rental income, with certain categories of capital gain being exempted) might be zero or even negative.

I could easily live on part time money I strategically bought a super cheap house and paid off truck so my bills are super low compared to normies. Problem is part time job gives no benefits so I still have to slave away 55 hours a week to have healthcare it’s all a scam

Yeah declaring zero assessable income does have its benefits. $100k per year alone in free child care.

Gotta take the wins where you can get them.

Ok cool. I went homeless several times since 97 and set unofficial WRs in things that nobody cares about.....

I don't have this problem....

Not my problem. Maybe they should have done their running back training.

How do they do it? because they're sheep, they're essentially bluepilled, they follow the herd of what everyone else is doing.

My life got expotentially better in MOST ways (not every way) when I became NEET, with the new programs available for disabled people who can't work a full time job you don't have to live like a bum anymore.

Once I get into housing along with the money I get from the government my net worth will be higher than if I had a minimum wage full time job, and if I get a "casual" job (5 or 6 hours a week) the government will give me even more money for being a working disabled person and my net worth will be way higher than someone who works a full time minimum wage position.

The mind wants to rebel when things come too easy or seem to good to be true, its like the original matrix from the movie where it was a utopia, all the imprisoned people rebelled because it seemed to good to be true.

The opportunity I had for a WFH sales position possibly making 100s of thousands a year seems to good to be true, but if I was able to pass the training I could have been living the high life, I'm okay with being on disability with my own apartment and all the time in the world to do whatever I want and have money to buy what I want.

This is true
Only blue pill cuckolds have jobs.
You wake up, force feed yourself, shit, shave, shower early in the morning just to drive or take a bus or train in traffic because some random guy told you in order for some billionaire to make money.

I’ve never had a job because no one tells me what to do as I’m not a cuckold.
