i dont have it in me to kill wildlife like tht anymore. i use to take out tons of porcupines, they are worse than beavers bc at least beavers only kill trees near a pond or water, and you can just wrap the base with chicken wire and the beavers will fuck off. not a porky, they start at the top and strip the bark all the way down often times, they especially like oak trees which happens to be my fav. i dont kill them anymore though.

il do it for food, but not for any other reason. i also use to take out as many red squirrels as i could. but i come to appreciate them and their attitude/spiciness and resilience. one time a few year ago i was cutting timber and i just had this nagging squirrel that kept following me around and chirping. he was letting me know it was his turf. he finally jumped into a tree i already planned on taking down anyway so i hurried up and started my cut in the tree to fall it with him at the top. down the tree goes and mid way down this thing ninjas jumped off the tree to break the fall and successfully landed and survived. this was like a 60-70ft tree. then he kept chirping
