I had it during the 1996 Olympics here in Atlanta. We watched track for 2 hours in 100 heat with zero shade. Then went to some other sport for an hour in the sun.

Later we walked around Centennial Olympic Park on the hot pavement making it even hotter. I begged for a water but even in 1996 my parents said no and they would buy us something to drink when we got out. My dad bought my brother and I some frozen American bandannas that you wrapped around your kneck. It was melted in less than 5 min. All of the sudden my parents wondered where the hell was I and I was about 200 ft or so behind them just stumbling incoherent all over the place. My mom ran back to me and asked what was wrong and if I was okay. I couldn’t even make eye contact. All I was able to say was “I’m hot”. My dad scooped me up and ran me to a stand selling water. That shit got real bad really quick.
