This is what the Supra should have been. But it's too little too late.

These companies astound me with how stupid they can be.

That car is $225k start ,twin turbo v8 i believe,625hp?? ,developed by Toyotas gazoo racing division

The current supra is a bmw ,and why i passed having owned a BMW, great to drive ,pia to maintain

26 is the last run ,Toyota told bmw to beat it ,dunno why they collaborated in the first place

The new supra, also designed by gazoo is due out 27

Ill be getting one in 28 ,let the bugs get worked out

65k ish start ,450 hp roughly

Tune ,downpipe ,intake ,exhaust, prob close to 500

Not all electric ,nor is the gt

A turbo-hybrid engine combines an internal combustion engine (ICE), a turbocharger, and an electric motor with a battery. This system uses the electric motor to provide immediate torque at low speeds (eliminating "turbo lag") and the turbocharger to deliver sustained power at higher speeds, creating a highly efficient and high-performing powertrain.

Toyota is pretty slick ,they also put a real first gear in their cvt to eliminate the abuse of starting from stop on the cvt bands

I dont mind the cvt in the Corolla, missed being able to order a manual by a year

Took a little bit getting used to getting into the rpm band to pass doing it manually with stick

It wont kick down on its own to the acceleration I want

But id never buy a turbo with a cvt or automatic

there is only one KING in the Toyota lineup ...the 5th gen Prius....can you say 55mpg (you'll have to beat women off with a stick if you cite that stat as they will be impressed by your financial-prudence).

Who knows if you get a yellow one, you might even pick up a "fare" on your way home?
