Overheard at mall foodcourt: "You still haven't fixed the loose step on the deck"

Said to a husband by his wife a table away

Imagine being middle aged and it's your weekend and your wife passive-aggressively tells you there's a chore you need to do

The guy probably built the deck too and now his wife is complaining about one of its steps

Felt smug that as a forever single guy I'll never have to deal with something so trivial

Was literally like this on the ride back appreciating the GOATness of never getting married or even being in a relationship...
