It's wild knowing if you're a very introverted loner no one will care when you're gone

If you make it to your later middle ages and beyond when a lot of people who once knew you are gone or who you've lost contact with because of you introversion

It's not surprising but still somber

You didn't provide anything of value to the world

You mostly kept to yourself and disregarded others and society in general

You will get that same energy in return with people not caring, or not even noticing, when you're gone

It'll literally be as if you never existed

even more sobering is that for 99.999% of people no matter what they do time will have them forgotten in just a few decades. heck take someone like hulk hogan who was near the pinnacle of being "known" -- how will humans see him in 50 more years...100 years...200 years...2200 years?

play this out and at some point with so much well recorded history -- will fewer and fewer people actually be remembered?

like in 100,000 years maybe 2-3 people really getting discussed much from every 100-200 years? from our perspective now we only have like what 1500 years of time to pick out important people that are pretty well documented? in 100k years how many people will fall into obscurity? heck, kinda using the hulk hogan example....in 3,000 years the entirety of the last 50 years of pro wrestling could be a paragraph about olden days entertainment in some ancient history book 😮

what makes it "wild" ? everybody dies and no one will be remembered. only historically relevant figures like the painter will be remembered.
