Has technology enslaved us?

It was all fun and games at first. Then technology became a weapon to control and enslave us. That sad part is that we are oblivious to it as it can be used to manipulate our minds.

Ya were basically fked .
A coworker of mine got stopped by the cops , and he asked them why they pulled him over ?
Keep in mind he’s in a minivan with his wife and kids so nothing too suspicious lol . Anyways the cop told him he pulled him over because was taking an unusual route home .
So ya AI sure AF ain’t here to help us ,it’s so governments can manage their totalitarian regime more efficiently. Why do you think they’re pushing hard to get all these data centres built . It’s difficult to have a surveillance state without data centres.

So fking glad I’m old and on my way out somedays . The younger generations are basically fked

Let's see.

Your phone can track you
Your car can track you
Every credit card payment you make is tracked
Every Google search, every YouTube search, any website you go to, your being tracked and a profile is being built about you.
Twitter Instagram Snapchat Facebook all have profiles about you.

Now we have co-pilot or chat gpt which I'm pretty sure the majority of people are using for work with bosses encouraging it, especially co-pilot because it's a great tool behind the scenes to track your employees to create profiles about them.

Our grandchildren will suffer.

I know people think the government will do something nefarious but our saving grace was public servants are incompetent and bureaucratic. The private sector is not, and now that the government seems to be teaming up with the private industry in terms of philosophy regarding us the 'peasants' and with AI becoming better and better I am having second thoughts.

But here is the thing, how many of you are wearing Fitbit, how many of you have your phone track your sleep, how many of us pay with card or Apple pay rather than cash, how many of us willingly sign up to Facebook Twitter Snapchat etc.

We willingly signed up for convenience and we will pay for it in the end

I no longer have email (srs)

I deleted the account I had for over a decade

I changed all my bills from paperless (ie, sent via email) to regular mail since that's the only reason I was using email

I don't work or keep in contact with anyone, so it probably wouldn't be possible for most people to not have email

It was the first step in my plan to limit my technology use

Next I plan to switch to an old school flip phone (without texting capability) for those rare occasions I might call someone

Then to eventually stop using the internet altogether

Trying to return to the good old days of the early 1990s and prior where at most you had a phone and maybe a computer to play games but no internet or email

Technology is a neutral tool.

The invisible chains were solidified long before modern technology.
“The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.“

PS: Don't eat poop, just don't let the idea of it stop you from living life to its fullest.

cameras everywhere now too. they also track how much money you put in the bank if over $10k cash (the amount should've risen with inflation). but yeah with the government/irs/fbi/cia/mossad etc having the money and ability to put the power of AI to use we are cooked. losing the ability to be autonomous people.

Biggest issue is nearly all of our food sources poison us. The fix is cutting out everything processed and everything with a bunch of ingredients.

If possible
-Work outside/in the sunlight daily.
-Stay lean & healthy.
-Grow a vegetable garden. Grow fruit tree's/shrubs.
-Keep chickens/ducks for eggs/meat.
-If urban raise micro-livestock like quail/rabbits.
-If you can get enough acreage raise cows/pigs to slaughter for meat.
-Don't go full retard with blue light (phone, tv, computer screen).
-Drink spring or well water.
-Avoid drinks/food that is stored in plastic containers.
etc.

When AI can do some pullups, an hour of swimming laps, and eat whatever it wants, I'll be worried about it taking over

Well they're obviously using some kind of tech that isn’t disclosed to the public . What scares me is the thought they’re watching our every move .
Mass immigration is so good for our country that it takes a surveillance state and a large police presence to enforce it

No getting off this path, even if we all wanted to. The tendency to adapt the environment to our will using our minds is basically ingrained in us. May as well ask us not to blink.

you could argue that it also divided us more, made us more lonely, made women worse, ruined dating/marriage, kids less physically/mentally healthy, gave us less time off work because work could always get to us, spread access to addictions like porn/gambling like nothing else in history, etc.

like i said before...internet and all the tech going along with it is like the best engineered drug ever created. approved by society and 99% addicted...yet no one sees a problem or wants to quit. anyone with the notion that we are in the matrix might as well be yelling at the sky.
