Privacy, Integrity, and Subscription Updates
Hi, a few noteworthy updates have been introduced since v1.6.0 was released.
The option to hide Adult content can be found in the user settings. This was introduced in v1.6.1.
OB takes security and integrity seriously, and posting and sharing should be safe. The integrity section, which will be expanded in future updates, aims to provide you with options to manage your integrity.
The initial settings are:
Hide your online status: As the name suggests, this prevents other users from seeing when you are online.
Silent posting: Do not notify my subscribers when I post new content.
The subscribe-to-user feature was introduced as the number of forums increased, making threads from your favorite users easier to miss. If you wish to subscribe but, for whatever reason, do not want to receive notifications, or if you wish to take a pause, you can become a "blue" or "cold" subscriber by clicking the bell button again.
You are not subscribed:
You are now subscribed and will receive notifications when a new thread is created.
Click the bell button again to become a blue or cold subscriber - you will still be subscribed, but no notifications will be sent to you from this user.
Lastly, threads in the Adult forums will receive stricter labeling to give users a clearer heads-up about the content before opening a thread, since these forums are largely media-based.
