Will dropping $10,000 on a Breitling make me feel better about the fact that i'm FA??

Honestly Misc, my life is pointless. It's worthless. And i'm like 90% sure I won't make it past 40.

I'm starting to sympathize with used car salesman brah. Guy has everything like me; a good job, good savings, gets to go on vacations, some good brahs, no debt - but without a woman, it's meaningless. You're constantly lonely and life is pointless. I'm not even talking about marriage, but I don't talk to women. I have Tinder matches but don't know how to converse with women. I don't have ANY hope of getting a GF. Just like used car guy, I work in a male dominated environment so I don't have any female companionship at all. I'll probably never have sex again unless I pay for it. And it's just led to a massive FA hole in my life.

I want kids. I want something to look forward to. I want someone to tell me they love me. But the way my life is going, i'm thinking it's going to end in depression and suicide just like most corporates who never marry.

However, what if I think phuck saving and just make the most of my life from 25 to 40? If I know i'm going to call it a day when i'm single and there's nothing to live for, why waste my prime years not enjoying life and being a frugal kunt who saves for his wife to live in a 5-bedroom house? What if I fly business class instead of premium economy? What if I buy a Breitling as my daily wear instead of an Armani? What if I finance a $200,000 AMG Convertible Mercedes or a bit more and get a candy red Ferrari 458 on my poverty $75K salary with no phucks given, even if it's "beyond my means"?

There's no point me buying a house. It will just go to charity as i'll have no wife or kids to pass it to. Phuck paying mortgage for my remaining 15 years. I may as well move out of my parents house, rent a nice bachelor pad, buy the hnnnnngggggg watch I always wanted and saw the MD's wear in Investment Banks, drive a car that only a board member can afford and start living.

Rather than just rotting because my life is lonely, i'm an FA with no hope or saving hard to start a business and become a fund manager, why not just blow away any savings and inheritance I have on watches, cars, renting a nice pad, drinking goat alcohol everyday, partying with hookers, and then just die once all the money runs out?

Btw, i'm legit not even doing any of this to show off on Insta (I don't even have IG); i've honestly been contemplating that there's no point to my life and I may as well just go all out and enjoy it. I'll start small with a Breitling and see if that makes me feel better about life, and if so, i'll slowly add the rest in!

Thoughts Misc? Inb4 go see a counselor, go get an accountant and go hire an escort before you piss away all your savings and life in 3 years

Breitling is a ****boi brand. Look at Rolex, Omega, or JLC.

Omega is pretty common, and I could honestly put a deposit down on a supercar for the price of a brand new Rolex.

Also, despite them being "flashy", I quite like Breitlings. I think they're aesthetic and beautifully made.

Nobody in IB notices if you have an Omega, and they think you're an idiot if you wear a Rolex unless you're wearing it for the journey to the Golf course.

But clients are more likely to sign your deals if you're wearing a Breitling (srs).

I wouldn't normally man. Infact my current daily wear is a $550 Hugo Boss quartz chrono. But if you actually read the OP, you'll see why I just wanna go all out and spend like a mofo and start living a bit. Forget saving, forget being frugal, forget sustainability and enjoy my life however much an FA like me can...

How about you just solve being gay by not being fa.

Phuck tinder go and talk to a chick in real life, if you catch a chick looking at you at the gym go and say hi.

Go make a fool of yourself. Honestly you can talk to women about anything you want.

Honestly thought about it, srs. But i'm just not attracted to men. I can appreciate a man's physique and I do 'mire hard. I'm just not sexually attracted to men, and I find the thought of kissing a man quite repulsive.

I don't even get time to lift anymore, so I can't meet chicks at the gym. I doubt they'd want me to approach them anyway. We both just want to get on with our workouts.

My problem is that EVEN if I get a girl interested, take her on a date, i'm genuinely too aspie to take her on further dates and make her my GF. A girl would have to be seriously messed up in the head or have worse issues than me to stay with me long term.

I sort of accepted before entering the corporate private sector that i'd be alone forever, but it's started to hit me hard as I begin to near 25 and think about the future and the reality of "dying alone"...

lol at thinking a woman will add meaning to your life.

and it's just a watch. once the novelty of having it wears off in a week it will be like any other possession you own.

If you're not confident enough to be alone, you won't be confident enough to have someone in your life.

Lol, are you seriously saying you can go the rest of your life living in 4 walls, even if they are nice walls in a GOAT apartment, without ever cuddling, kissing, saying you love a partner again?

I think I can if I maximise life from 25 to 40. But not beyond the age of 40...

My problem is loneliness from a lack of companionship. I honestly think hookers would make me feel worse, because then i'd be surrendering to the fact that I can't get a GF. I'm not sure the short term fix would be sustainable long term.

And you'd be surprised how expensive both those habits can get. The 10K would disappear in no time. Like 1 year max if you did both regularly. A Breitling is for life and retains it's value.

just lmao at spending any serious money on a watch.

The only people who would be able do discern a nice brand are other men.

Waste of money and it won't get you the attention you want.

If you buy all that stuff here's what'll happen:

You'll have a bunch of new expensive stuff, and that will be exciting.

Over time the excitement will wear off, and one day you'll find yourself sitting there alone in your room, asking the misc. wtf you should do now that you're broke and in debt, own a bunch of sh!t you don't really care about, and STILL FA AS FUK.

Do what you want, OP, but buying expensive things to "live a little" is a bandaid, not a solution to your FA problems.

I think accomplishing something will make you feel far better about yourself than buying an expensive watch. Set some goals for yourself, learn something new, go introduce yourself to some ladies and make it work!

Now if you really like the watch, have the cash, and want to wear it for yourself than go for it, but don't expect a new watch to turn your life around in everyone else's eyes.

no but dropping 40k on an AP will

the price of your watch is directly proportional to your self esteem. I'd imagine people with $350,000 tourbillons feel pretty good about themselves.

Be like Busta. Poverty student couch and 300 dollar oven for one, and he's quite happy analysing addresses to deliver letters to every day.

Nobody in IB notices if you have an Omega, and they think you're an idiot if you wear a Rolex unless you're wearing it for the journey to the Golf course.

But clients are more likely to sign your deals if you're wearing a Breitling (srs).
You can get a brand new rolex for 5-6k.

Omega and breitling are roughly on the same level.

Nobody gives two ****s about any watch that's not a rolex.
