How mad were you when you found out...

your goal physique wasn't even natty LOL

Not guna lie, I was mad and immediately went into a denial phase which lasted about 6months where I was convinced I could look awesome with enough hard work.

Any other miscers here who used to be dilusional about gains and then had an "aw phuck bye" moment?

Nah, but I did have times where I wanted to reach my goals in a shorter period of time, back when I was a dumb beginner

That's when I had a little sip of the

Goal physique was and always will be

Think a similar physique could be achieved natty

Back when I was young and stupid and probably 2-3 years into lifting (so about 15 years ago) those Animal ads with Frank MacGrath looking juicy as fawk were all the rage. I was like "damn, I want to look like that!....GOAL PHYSIQUE!". I later realized that to get that huge you need to be cycling and cycling hard.....for years. It was a gradual realization though, not overnight.

Never really had a goal physique in the form of a picture or person, but I was pretty mad when I found out how low the natty limit is.

There were a whole bunch of teenage bodybuilders on the Teen BB section lying about being natty and advising me and other natty teens to shoot for a 2lb weight gain per week and handing out all these pro BB training schedules. I fuked my shoulders and knees up pretty bad thinking the harder and heavier I trained, the faster I'd be huge like they were. Nothing permanent, luckily.

its funny u mention that because i was just thinking about those ads...clever marketing especially with all the animal paks people were using as their vitamins. i used to love coming across them in the magazines, very appealing..."The long road ahead" and sht like that with a guy in a hoody sitting with a black and white background....those ads were cool as fuk. but even then i knew those guy had to use skittles but still i was turned onto the product based on the appeal of the ads

edit: i wasn't far off but here is the one that came to mind where it says "the road ahead"

I remember buying the animal packs and then opening one of those packs and it was full of these horse size capsules and I felt like such a badass taking that ****. LMAO

EDIT: They still make those packs but they are no longer capsules and don't look quite as "hardcore" now.

Nah bro, I think a single digit BF% in the 180's at 5'9 is attainable natty

Like I said before, it would be a similar physique, wouldn't have the same insertions, genetics, etc. that made Zane the GOAT

That being said, I think attaining a physique anywhere near similar would take over a decade of consistent training/nutrition

None of these physiques are natty and they've been training for years so wtf makes you think this is "achievable" natty?

how does one get similar results if that other person isn't natty? I mean think about it you have a non natty physique and people say you can get the same result being natty. how is that even possible?
