Yes, because we all eat Wonderbread and there are no actual bakers in the US. Also, there's only a single manufacturer of chocolate in the entire US, and it's Hershey.

Most American' supermarkets have a bit of the first fresh baked bread in the Deli area. People buy the mass manufactured slice kind because its so damn easy/fast/convenient to make toast/sandwiches with it.
