30. 90k student loan debt. liberal arts degree. dead end job

What do?

Making 35-40k a year in a dead end job. I have no skills or talents. I can't code or anything. I've thought of the following options:

A) Go back to nursing school (lol more debt, graduate at like 35)

B) Get a CS degree (lol more debt, graduate at like 37-38 cuz chit math background)

C) try to self-teach how to code (lol zero background with computers, skills, etc)

D) Get drunk, throw on a helium mask and say good bye.

Go back to school if that's what you really want. 30's isn't old at all IMO. You will still need to work for like 20+ years, may as well make better money and enjoy your job

You did something as retarded as getting a liberal arts degree, what makes you think you deserve a second chance? Your life is over.

(black phillip fan)

I have delusion about potentially "enjoying my job."

I just want to not be a loser anymore.

TBH I want to give up and end it but that would be selfish for a variety of reasons (family, etc)

Oh yeah I'm thinking about taking online chess a little more srsly and really establishing some meaningful relationships.

Come on son this is the real world we're talking about here. Besides health, of course money is everything. And I don't have any.

OP, the first two years or so for ALL majors are gen ed courses, so by having a liberal arts degree you should have those years.

Getting a Bachelor's in Comp Sci should, therefore, take you roughly 2 years. 3-4 if you're a bit slow about it and to factor in potential retakes.

No computer science doesn't work like that. It's all a progression of courses that takes four years. And the freshman level CS courses require math skills that I'm two years away from. So realistically it'll take 6-8 years

Lie and say you are Native American (100% srs) they don't consider white men for government jobs as they are essentially welfare for minorities and the like.

You could also join the navy or something gay like that.

A comp sci degree doesn't mean you'll be financially stable...

If you aren't logic/analytical oriented or don't even know if you'll enjoy programming the degree will be hell and you will probably unemployable if you make it. If it's something you like and up good in then it could work out.

make sure before you apply for a job, you go to the description of it and copy all of the required skills, and paste them into your resume. otherwise the robots will decline you before a human even looks at you.
