Is Trump a Fascist?
This guy seems to think Trump is the same thing as Hitler, minus the mustache.
Is this true?
I hope we get through the next 4yrs w/o major issues. Trump seems really bad for America.

He is an American Patriot who is going to save America from the downward spiral it's currently on.
And apparently we listen to homeless people for advice on politics.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

Definition of fascism
An authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization
So yes, he is.
It's depressing that in 2017 people still believe the government can solve their problems. Particularly depressing is the specter of protectionism and mercantilism - despite Adam Smith and Frederic Bastiat disproving these absurd notions in 1776 and 1847, respectively. People believe that a country/economy is like a business and you should be maximizing the amount of stuff you sell (exports) and punishing imports.
What's more depressing is that people still believe in "us" vs "them" and that it seems that people increasingly believe the state is society. That somehow countries "compete" with each other and the leaders should do all they can to "win" these competitions.
There is much work for us economists in these times to be as gentle and patient as we can to explain to people that they are individuals. And that any attempt by the state to subvert their individual choices in whom they associate with through trade or immigration is against the principles of natural law and liberty.
Trump will be a politician, he will back down on "promises" made during his campaign, he will push forward his own interests. That is what politicians do and we should expect no less. He will not "fix" the economy, because he cannot, he lacks the information required to direct production of all things man wants in such quantities and occasions as man wants them.
More fundamentally, you cannot fix that which doesn't exist, there is no "economy" - it's just us. Any attempt to direct trade and enterprise must necessarily be an attempt to direct the decisions of free men.
Liberty is never stolen, it is given away willingly.
PS - not an ameribrah, not eligible to vote, but even if I was I would exercise my right to ignore the state.

Oppose the globalism fuarktard movement and that makes you a fascist?
yeahok.gif
Trump is a Nationalist, but that doesn't make him a Fascist.
He has spoken out many times about "cutting the red tape" of government, and has denounced the actions of governmental agencies and overspending on government programs. This is the exact opposite of what a Fascist would do.

Trump isn't after power. Trump isn't trying to be an authoritarian ruling mongrel. He sees the injustice behind the scenes that the media covers up. He wants to clear our name from bad deals, bad ideas, and things that negatively impact us. His interest is US first. That is the point of having a president, a country, and our own government. To put our interest first to create a country that is the most fair and live-able as possible. Of course politicians have their own interests. They have since the beginning of time. I'm not sure why you even brought that up.
Trump is going to take a lot of brunt force of backlash, but it's for the better. We have been a pushover behind the scenes in certain aspects, and unbelievably ignorant in a lot of political, financial, and global issues. When a president basically pushes gender neutral bathrooms in school as an important subject matter, then we have failed as a government. Pushing the minutia as the major issues, and sidelining the true major issues has gotten us in quite a chit situation.
Watch this as well.

Trump is after power, that's why he's a politician.
Even if we assume Trump is altruistic and acting in what he believes is "the will of the people". He still cannot do so, despite his intentions because "the people" do not have "a will" - you cannot aggregate people's desires and choices. Anthropomorphising all people who happen to live in the US as "the people" is kind of ridiculous. Each individual person has their own wills and desires, and they alone are best suited to deciding which of these to prioritize and satisfy.
He cannot put the US first, because he has no way of knowing how to act in the interests of "the people" even if those interests existed.
You make mention of clearing your name from bad deals. In reference to the "bad deals" Trump and his followers claim international trade deals to be. These deals they are only bad in that they constrain trade at all, thebestdeal would be for all people in the US to be free to associate and trade with all other people everywhere, as they see fit. This includes trade in labour which implies open borders. If Trump removes all barriers of this type then he will be written in history as improving the quality of life for people in the US immensely, and it will be true.
But he won't do these things, politicians acting in their own interest is a fundamental flaw in democratic governance. Every liberty the people give up to increase the state's power increases the opportunity for politicians to abuse it. Trump will more than likely remove some "red tape" in industries he decides are worthwhile. And claim he is "saving jobs" or "creating jobs" to earn kudos in the public mind. This, also is absurd, jobs are not scarce - in a world of scarcity such as ours jobs will be unlimited because man's desires are unlimited and his means of meeting them is limited. Politicians do not create jobs or save jobs.
Trump won'tcreatea country that is fair and live-able. Again, he has no way of knowing what is fair and live-able to all people. But more importantly, society need not becreatedby any act of the state, it emerges and flourishes so long as private property rights are secure (this includes your life and body just FYI). This is one of the most important conclusions of Friedrich Hayek in his booksThe Road to SerfdomandThe Constitution of Liberty.
I agree, a president should not have the power to push gender neutral bathrooms, but a president should also not have the power to remove the rights of people to provide gender neutral bathrooms. These actions are far beyond the scope of government. The solution is to constrain the state and politicians to roles they are quite uniquely suited to: ensuring the security of private property rights.

I'll post a few things you didn't understand:
1. The US is a large entity, not compiled of individual entities. You're acting like the will of individual beliefs/ideals/values is completely unique. There is a reason why there is a two party system, as much as most people hate it. People obviously align with people that are like minded in terms of values and beliefs.
2. You keep saying "Trump doesn't know the will of the people, so how can he help them." Again, the US is a giant entity. Trying to decrease the national debt is a good thing. Correct? Minimizing tension will other global superpowers is a good thing, correct? Reforming Immigration laws from a clearly horrific current system is good....correct? I don't follow your thinking at all. You deconstructed America down to individual thinking, yet it is comprised of the exact opposite. He is doing what is the best for the US not based on the collective individuals thoughts of every single person in America. I mean...you can't really use that as your argument. Come on. Also, the US is already fair and live-able on just about every level. It is the most FREE country in this world in which is based on liberties that solidify that. His goal is to help maintain that and oppose threats to that. THEN try to improve it.
3. Bad "deals" was not meant to talk about trade deals. You just deduced it to that and pushed your agenda again. smh. Did you watch the video?
4. I can keep going but you basically took a word or set of words from my argument, and completely flipped it to talk about what you wanted to talk about. For example, the issue with the gender neutral bathrooms wasn't a reference to power. It was in reference to the effort of power. Again, making the minutia (gender neutral bathrooms) a huge deal, while undermining geo-political issues and economic growth efforts.
Basically you miscomprehended my entire argument, based yours entirely on Utopian thinking, and then showed me how little you know of our political and government ideals as a country. But again, you don't live here. That makes sense.

I hope trump is the best president ever and stays in for 8 years.
Sick of people talking **** about him when he hasn't even had his first day. All these "love everybody, everyone is equal, give everyone a chance! even the black kid that grew up in a hood shot at cops then got killed for it! he was innocent! he deserved a chance!" left-wing ****s preach hate daily whilst completely going against what they apparently believe in.
Hate the "we preach love (unless its against our beliefs)" type of people who bash trump constantly.
Give him a chance...

Whilst he is an authoritarian, he has at the same time made clear how he doesn't think the state - in this case the federal government - has any place in deciding certain aspects of people's lives. He's a demagogue however, so that makes comparisons to fascism easy.
Trump is just a nationalist, small-c conservative.

Always ironic to see the progressive left, who've exposed themselves as the violent children that they are, who worship the God that is the state, crying about fascism. As they desperately try to censor and block things that don't align with their identity politics based political views. Lmao.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

Im not from America but i sure did celebrate when he won.
I told people at work i wanted him to win and copt the heat..
i told people on my social media and trumped a social justice warrior.
I should of bet on the 5/1 odds
In reality i just wanted anyone but Hillary to win.
I welcome the new king of the west.

So tired of this.
Nazis, Fascist and Communists are ALL LEFTIST just different pieces from the same cloth.
One is just further to the left than the others.
These all want government controlling the people's lives in some way.
Nazis = National SOCIALIST WORKERS Party.

She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.
