Back in the day when I first started lifting, I'd just get up an hour earlier, or whatever was needed - I was getting my workout in before work come hell or high water. Nowadays, don't mess with my sleep.

I lifted yesterday (Bench/SSB/Push Press), but took today off.

Maybe I’ll slow down on lifting at some point in my life, but I’ve been pretty gung-ho about it for nearly 30 years now. 🤷🏼

I hate good mornings with a passion lol

Everytime I do them I feel like I'm going to break my back in half. Srs. So many better exercises to do for posterior chain development imo (ghr, reverse hyper, pull-throughs, etc)

I try not to take days off, but I honestly need one, I've been making good gainz and everything is tight

I do my share of kettlebell swings and weighted back raises too. I don’t deadlift as much as I used to, but the good mornings work for me.

When I see people do good mornings wrong, the biggest thing that stands out to me is that they are trying to bend over rather than sitting back enough. A proper good morning is about 25% squat, 75% bending over imo. Otherwise it’s too much low back involvement.
