Never understood how you didnt follow at least one sport.

You were most likely unathletic or some incel loser srs.

There seems to be multiple outcomes depending on the person and their experience with their sport. Got a buddy of mine that briefly played for the KS Royals. After he got injured and washed out of the league, he never watched baseball ever again srs. My dad, on the other hand, played football in high school. Probably defensive lineman, if I remember correctly. But he says he watches football even more now because he used to play.

I think there's a balance. It offers good entertainment, and there are certain elements that are commendable in sports, like athletic achievement and teamwork.

But I don't get people who go crazy on sports results, feeling especially sad if their team loses or happy if their team wins. Like, there's no need for a party at your house if the Yankees win, and there's no need to beat your wife or fall into depression if the Yankees lose.

I used to be a big sports fan, but my interest decreases every year. I watch my college team more than NFL, just feels like more of a connection and want to see them do well. I'm over sports gambling at this point too. I hope the Cubs and Bears do well and to a lesser extent the Bulls and the Blackhawks, but I don't know what's going on with the teams and players like i used to. I go to pro games when I get free tickets from work connections, but don't pay to go. Iwent to a couple Cubs games last year and the Bears vs Packers wildcard game and a Notre Dame game (that I paid for) last year, it's nice to go back to campus.

Love sports. There is no better drama than sports.

Just look at last night's Stanley Cup Finals game.

I love taking my kids to games, my son got to see Brady play in his last season and my daughter and I catch at least 2-3 hockey games per season.

We even go to the AHL and NCAA hockey games.

I like sports because i used to play. Regular play strengthens muscles, improves cardiovascular endurance, and lowers chronic disease risks. Exercise releases endorphins, reduces stress hormones, and sharpens cognitive focus.Not to mention, Team sports build lasting friendships, teach teamwork, and cultivate a sense of community. We as Athletes develop discipline, resilience through losing, and time-management habits. The pure joy of play and the excitement of competition provide a powerful emotional outlet.

Anyone who was athletic and played usually loves to watch. Plus, even to this day, i bet i can fkn throw a football over a mountain.
