Disclosure Day

Anybody else seen it?

I had my hopes up, but... meh. Kinda let down.

-the farm house scene where he "sneaks up" behind 20 guys in plain sight, steals their car and gets away? yeah right
-the minute before TV disclosure where they can just grab her and walk out, but don't, after 70 years of chasing? yeah right
-you can argue the leader accepted fate, but henchman #1 was ready to shoot that bitch
-the recovery footage was sick, but then they show three of them walking all weird into a Nazi tent? dumb, keep them as pilots

Clearly setting up a sequel with the henchman #1 guy who picked up the crystal went invisible, just like the chosen girl. Also the ending clearly is a cliffhanger.

To me it was just a two hour car chase as they desperately raced to the TV station to upload their "disclosure"

But the thing I kept asking myself was... why?

TF did they need to upload it to a TV station? I mean surely the techno geek math genius had heard of this new invention called the internet, right? So skip the car chases and pop into a fucking Starbucks.. Grab a cup of coffee and a Danish, use their wifi to upload the shit to somewhere and call it a day.

Dude even crashed hard AF into a tree - then with 50 federal agents all shooting at his ass, he was still able to back up and get TF away from them.. Car was just fine too - like it never even happened lol.

I went to it this last weekend and there was no one in the theater really, our group had 4 in it and there was maybe another 8-10 people in the whole theater for a matinee.

It was decent but the movie was kind of way out there on some stuff even for hollywood.

I agree, him just "sneaking" up to a car in a wide open field when there were 20-30 people around was a joke.
Him constantly getting away when he was just some guy with no training.
All the classified videos they had of alien beings and govts was super fake looking and filmed from angles like it was a movie. The videos should have looked more found footage like.
Alien at the end looked gay and fake.

I had my 3rd grader with me and she had never seen an action flick like that, so that made it fun. She was so nervous during the train scene but knowing its a Spielberg movie you know everything will be ok in the end. Also I highly doubt there will be a sequel based off the ending, Spielberg doesn't really do sequels and he's old as fuk.

I have the best luck with Bflix, the only problem is the website is constantly shut down and changing the name slightly. I think its currently bflix.la that works, if not you'll have to visit reddit and find the new address that works.
