How obedient are you?

Could you tell friends and family no?

Could you tell a boss no?

Could you tell a cop no?

Could you tell yourself no?

I never say no.

It's usually a "fuck off." or "Why the fuck are you even talking to me you prick?"

"obedience" is one of those words that pisses me off with how they use it in church srs. How can you be "obedient" to something that never clearly tells you what it wants? All we got is the ten commandments. Just follow those and stop trying to guilt your congregation into making every thought in their heads and feelings of emotion some kind of message from God, because they can't "hear his voice"

One time I went duck hunting (100% legal) in front of some mansions on the water. Access was legit, ability to posses and discharge firearm was legit as long as I'm in the water. Sun comes up, shoot some ducks, walk out and there's a angry women and cop next to my truck. We talk, of course the homeowner knows no laws and is mad I killed "her ducks". She didn't even complain about the gun shots at 7am lol. Cop wont let me speak to her and takes me aside and basically tries to intimidate me with guilt and "gray areas of the law". Explained the law back to him, he knew it already, shakes his head and asks if I could just not do that here. Said sorry, this is my local spot, I live 5 minutes away in the same zip code as Karen. Either I hunt here or I drive an hour away, I'll be back next Sunday. We all left and no one called the cops again. Closest I've come to "disobedience".

I don't think obedience is the right word for this. Maybe how comfortable are you with confrontation.
