Rogue squat bar literally doubles in price after shipping and tax

I have a squat bar , but because of my short arms my left hand feels like it’s sprained from trying to hold the bar behind my back . It’s actually made it difficult to hold dumbbells now . Fking old age I swear .

Anyways although I don’t want to invest in another bar , I was looking at Rogue’s other options . Looking back I should have bought this in the first place I guess , but I never had issues with my hand till now .

The price is acceptable, but the shipping is insane . Faurk , look at the total lol . Guess this is a hard pass .

I bought a Marrs Bar and would never go back to a regular SSB, but shit ain't cheap. You might look at Titan. I don't think Rogue's bar is anything special. Not sure about shipping to Canada.

I have Bells of Steel SSB and love it. I'd also recommend you bench with a Swiss/football bar srs

BOS Safety Squat Bar you could get for around $350 srs. I got mine for $175 off FB Marketplace about 4 years ago

That’s actually a pretty good idea . I’ve visited their store b4 in Calgary . I own 2 of their benches and squat stands . Never really thought of buying a bar from them , and although I’d like to keep everything Rogue , it’s just not possible atm so it may come to this

Bit of a long shot but have you checked FB Marketplace or Craigslist? I got a lot of my home gym gear from there (bozos buy it, use it like twice, then just quit). Usually at a hefty discount too.

You have a truck so shifting it isn't an issue.

Not sure if they made changes . Anyways it’s too much of a hassle in my scenario, as I changed my last name years ago and my birth certificate doesn’t match my name now , so they wouldn’t renew it .
Funny as they had no issueing me a passport the first time I applied , but now apparently it’s a big deal .

My father abbreviated his name back in the 50’s , so my DL and Birth certificate never matched . I can’t be bothered to order another Birth certificate tbh . Time and money

Ok it’s ordered . I was going to drive but shipping was 6 times cheaper than driving with the current gas prices . Can’t wait till it gets here tbh . Could have saved 75 bucks had I ordered it yesterday, but I’m sure they have bills to pay to
