It’s crazy to think how people get old
First they start off babies, then get older, then get old. People are the only species that can be conscious of their age but often aren’t

Unfortunately I feel like most of us will be in our elder years by the time life extension therapies are approved and even then it will only be the extremely wealthy who will benefit. Maybe by the end of the 21st century or beginning of the 22nd century average people will be able to afford it.
Of course AI might reach singularity sooner than anyone can imagine and 5 years from now we could see the mass eradication of most age related diseases.
I remember being like 12 years old listening to Aubrey De Grey and others predict this shit. To see it become a reality would be a dream.

that's a likely scenario but i'm not convinced it's going to be the case. with our dwindling birthrates we have to find another solution or there will be nobody left to make the world turn. AI is going to be spearheading it's success for sure. I hope someone like elon musk with all his wealth will hop on the bandwagon so it's something you and i can have readily available when it's finalized in a product form. At the very least; I think that AI will increase the average life expectancy a good couple of decades if not more. Imagine being fully confident you'll live to see almost 100 and not just your mid 70s? a crazy difference
