AI models are trained using reinforced human learning feedback (RHLF). In laymens terms the models learn like humans do, by making mistakes and then receiving constructive feedback.

The job involves analyzing and critiquing multiple AI responses across a variety of parameters (accuracy, instruction following, proper formatting etc.) and then ranking the responses.

You do it on AI training platforms that the big AI companies pay for their data.

Depends on what type of model you're training. I'm a generalist which means I don't need any special skillset. Just a uni degree and some work experience.

But if you were analyzing coding responses you'd need to be a software engineer, if you were analyzing mathematics responses you'd need a background in math etc etc.

I've seen hundreds of roles - psychology experts, physics experts, engineering ecperts. The specialized ones typically pay like 100-150usd per hour where I'm only at 70.

You have to do a full application like a regular job and provide banking info because they pay you with stripe. They also do a full background check with criminal record and everything.

You also do an AI interview.

I'm not sure how thorough they were in the background check since the turnaround time was a day. I just uploaded a resume, connected my Linkedin and signed off on the police report.

Word.

How quick is the hiring process? Do you have to wait for someone to decide on hiring you or is it just however quick you can get thru the automated steps and then you start work?

For me I got rejected from about 20 specialist applications but they finally gave me an offer for a generalist. It took me a month to get onto a project from initial application.

I've seen other people get on in a few weeks.

You do the initial application once which takes an hour and then reuse to apply for different projects on the platform. So it wasn't like I did 20 standalone applications.

Op i need you to withdraw money and show the receipt with the sender being their company this is too good to be true i dont believe it i am calling you a liar untill then. Super ded fkn srs.
Otherwise every indian and their baby mamas would be in on this.

Best case scenario its a ploy to steal employee data and certificates and social security numbers, but they let a small percentage work in there to keep up the image.
Or theres some catch with the withdrawal of the money, wich i bet there fkn is. Like a 60% tax or a fee.

But if it works im gonna go get the fucken degree. This might be the future and without a degree youre rucked.
I even asked my PHD sister to sign up n let me use her account she refused. She never helps me out with anything i swear

Look up mercor … it was started by a bunch of kids who are now billionaires, the company is valued at 10B

Go to the Mercor subreddit and see everyone posting how much money they make. https://www.reddit.com/r/mercor_ai/s/wgvVMUmWUO

There is no catch at all, I’ve been paid every week on Wednesday via stripe.

Both below are just payments for on-boarding not even working on the project yet .. only started working on a project and really ramping up hours like 7 days ago

I went to apply for one generalist, and it required some video interview type thing. Do they all require that? I'm not doing that shit.

I wouldn't mind the extra money, but I don't need it either. Not going to cuck myself making some video groveling.
