In order for a claim like that to be legitimate, the victim has to prove the municipality knew about the hazard. The news anchors sated an accident happened here about month before this incident. The statue is met.

The physical damage is significant and will last the rest of his life. This is easy 15 million without even trying.


The lawyers may have high balled to get as much as possible, but I understand this claim could actually be worth 35 millie.

These liability laws are why everything is ruined in America

A lot of nice hikes or beaches shut down because it was on private land and not because they really cared it people were there but because of liability if someone gets hurt they can just be sued into oblivion
