Something I just realized while eating a donut for dinner

Was just eating a donut for dinner that I had gotten at the gas station in my car alone in the parking lot

As I was eating it, the "hole" in the donut kept changing

Until it wasn't a hole anymore but a half of a hole when one side was gone

Then a quarter of a hole as more of the donut was eaten

Until it disappeared completely

Made me realize there is no such thing as a donut hole

The air was always there and the donut was created around it and they called the part of the donut in the middle that didn't exist the "hole"

So it's not a donut hole

It doesn't belong to the donut

The air was already there before the donut existed around it
