Baseball is unwatchable. 162 slow boring agonizing painful games in a season. The only reason it survives is because of Boomers and when they die off it's over. Dead sport.

Not that I meet a ton of young people but I've never met one interested in baseball
Yankees made it to playoffs last year and I barely heard a word about it

I don't watch that much, but I did watch this pitch.

Whoever buys the best team wins.
The only hope is steroids but the sport cucked themselves out of that as well.
The NFL and NBA for that matter is a bunch of vile entitled nogs that are insufferable.....I guess hockey but meh.
I find World Cup more entertaining these days above all else

No, that's a joke. This is the equivalent of going to the Harlem Globetrotters and saying you went to a basketball game
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

MLB drew a personal record of 71.4 million fans in 2025, marking the third straight year with an increase in attendance. Yeah it's all the boomers though lol
The reason you clowns don't think it's doing well is because the media, like ESPN, fails to cover it. It's not a black sport so they push it to the background. You guys are literally getting cucked by media platforms you say you hate into thinking baseball is a dying sport.
It's not remotely dying and youth leagues are as active as ever. The irony that so many of you can't see past what DEI sports media conglomerate ESPN shoves down your throats though
Truth is, MLB has kind of given ESPN the finger. It's gone it's own way with most teams creating their own broadcasting networks which are thriving and allowing for the massive contracts you see baseball players getting. Far more lucrative than any other sport for players. Considering it doesn't get nearly the exposure as the NFL and NBA, you could argue in many ways it's shitting on both of them financially. Imagine if MLB fit the ESPN agenda to push so hard to the masses the way those other two leagues are pushed.

I'll throw Banana Ball on TV from time to time, it's fun. I'm a nerd so i still like regular baseball as well.
I've always said, you could watch baseball on an Excel spreadsheet. Some brahs even go to the games and fill out there on score cards for fun

Also agree with your comment on Banana Ball. It's Harlem Globetrotters stuff and has no appeal to me. Like might be fun to go once or if you have kids but then you never really need to go again.

Apparently I am in the minority. MLB is far more enjoyable for me. The Bananas is a performance for the masses, similar to movies or going to the theatre. That alone makes it less enjoyable to me. A real baseball game has games within the game itself.... pitch sequence, pinch hitter complexity, stealing a base decision tree, etc.

I think attending a Banana Ball game would be even more fun than going to MLB games. Fans catching foul balls to count as outs really makes it more impactful than just catching foul balls for souvenirs like in MLB.
That being said, I still like to watch MLB on tv. Saw the end of the Boston-Yanks game last night & was very entertained.
