30% housing crisis price due to illegal immigration: Dallas Fed



Researchers concluded the influx of illegal immigrant workers acted as a housing demand shock in markets where supply remained relatively constrained.

UIWF (Unauthorized Immigrant Worker Flows) can explain about 30% of the total growth in house prices and 20% of total growth in rents over the boom period for the average local market.

Housing market seems pretty rough in certain places right now. Obviously there's still a market for prime properties in ideal locations, but if a property has any type of issues or defects it's a fucking mess and they're getting zero interest.
