We used to walk out the door and not know what was gonna happen

Think about it.
You literally got out of your hut or a cave and you had no clue whats about to come.
You might get ambushed by a wolf bear. Or you might find a berry.

Now we know exactly whats happening outside.
What time the bus stops. Whats going on in other countries.

Theres no surprises.

I think this is how the human brain was naturally wired to be. Able to deal with "boredom" and each day being somewhat mysterious.

Its smartphones.

The internet is fine, you had to be home to post online. Now with smartphones you're connected 24/7.

2006 technology was peak. Just enough, but not too much.

Wait until Finland gets properly enriched.

Walk out your door in England and you don't know what third world hominid is going to ambush you. At least cavemen were armed with spears and clubs. Poor fuckers back home can't even have a fucking Leatherman.

I’m convinced humans were never meant to survive this long; we’ve become too advanced for our own good.
