Asking someone if they are using equipment, when they clearly are not…

Consideration or asshole move?

There is no middle ground.

I say don’t disrupt my workout for your bullshit. Use whatever equipment you want. You don’t need my permission

it's just being courteous man

like if i'm doing something on the cables and need a different attachment and it's on the ground near someone i'll ask if they're using it just to be courteous

it's usually just them with a quick point of the finger at the bench/machine/equipment. just a quick nod of the head or wave of the hand from you is all it takes to reply.

i'd rather have that courteous etiquette than just jumping on without asking.

what i don't like is the old out of shape fat NY Jew Boomer who runs over and asks - How many sets you got left? and then proceeds to hover right next to you until you're done.

Fuck no he wasn’t my type and if I communicate disgust and judgement I’m okay with that.

Be hotter.

Nice, I just tested to see if people thought it was considerate or a douche move

So, a guy was doing some heavy squats and I raced up to him and poked his shoulder while frantically asking if he was using that elliptical machine at the other end of the gym

After nearly falling over he cut his set short to ask "What the fuck is your problem, is this one of those stupid prank videos?"

This has led me to believe that it's considerate behavior and proper gym etiquette

I hate when I'm in the middle of a set, and some retard tries to ask me if I'm using the equipment that I'm obviously not using. I always just ignore them to focus on my set. (Super Ded fkn Srs)
