This Giant Bird Just Scared The Shit Out Of Me In Little Haiti - PICS

This large wading bird is a Limpkin (Aramus guarauna).It is known for its specialized diet, primarily feeding on apple snails.The bird is typically found in freshwater wetlands and marshes throughout the Americas, commonly in Florida.They are named for their limping gait and are famous for a loud, haunting call often heard at dawn or dusk.

Wait until you walk by a mother sandhill crane and she sizes you up. Manlets aren't safe, but regular people should be fine. They love medians by busy roads and hate natural wetlands and prairies, watch out.

Love seeing wild animals up close like that, especially the less common ones.

And great to see theres still some wildlife larger than squirrels and basic crows out there chillin in 'human' areas.

As long as it's not bears and stuff that can kill us, the more the better.
