Most of you haven't made peace with the fact that you'll never be anyone remarkable

You'll forever be average at best

Even if you make it so you're wealthy financially that's still average in the larger context

There's been billions of rich people, almost all of them anonymous and forgotten about

You'll never be someone so great that history will never forget

Those extraordinarily great people who are still spoken about to this day for centuries after they're gone

They say a man dies two deaths

Once being his actual death

And forever when he is last spoken about

Those great people are still spoken about and so they won't truly perish

Most of you will be last spoken about for a few days after your funeral or at most when your family is also gone

This. Don't forget that through history stories get embellished or hidden, depending on what country wins a war etc. After you die it's all out of your hands. The best we can do is try to breed well I think.

That's also being made impossible. 17% and rising of all young couples have trouble conceiving. It's projected this will rise to 100% by the next generation.

Ummm who cares? Britney Spears is worth millions and is batchit crazy shaving her head, getting checked into mental hospitals and still slooting it up on instagram like she's still got it. Mariah Carey the same and tried to kill herself. I'd rather be mentally and physically healthy and loved by the people that I do know vs having fans adore me while I'm miserable and mentally wanting to end it and the only thing to show for it is that a song or 2 will live on.

Life is for the living. Not the dead. When you're dead nobody 100 years from now is going to care, and nobody is going to care anything about Britney or Mariah either.

The fact that suicide is rather high on the wealthy list is proof enough to realize that being rich won't solve all of your problems. Some say that more money brings more problems. I think some people get really depressed when they become wealthy and figure out they are still not happy when they thought it was going to make them happy.

kinda like a longer term drug high...the dopamine impact wears off from the thing that was supposed to make them happy forever...then some get depressed realizing they live a hollow existence trapped by knowing all the money can't afford a way out. once you've done all the most amazing things you can think of several times over -- hard to rebottle it and make it make you happy to the same degree. luckily they have the money for medical care, but at the same time many turn to drugs/alcohol which can go really bad because they can basically afford an unlimited supply while having the money to sorta hide it/surround themselves with enablers. look at all the wealthy celebs that had people inside their circle that knew/were helping obtain the drugs.

Anyone can excel, you simply have to put effort into something and you will excel, I can't imagine someone whos completely unremarkable in every way.

I spend a lot of my time playing a game and I often place as one of the best in the world on the ladder, its something at least.
