Is the younger generation looking even younger nowadays?

At my workplace, we have new interns who joined for the summer. All of them are heading into their 3rd year in college.

They all look like 14 year old kids like high school freshman level. They look like what I remember from my high school years and I was completely shocked when I found out they are all entering their junior year in college.
