I was in NYC and watched the towers fall from the West Side Highway and 43rd st.

My mom lived at 400 Chambers St, two blocks away from the towers but she flew back to Tampa for the Bucs opening game. Thankfully

I did lose a friend though. 88 Floor Tower 2

I only saw the second plane. It was legit.

My friend's name was Kevin Cleary, really interesting guy. He paid for Chris Farley to go to rehab and he owned the rights to N'Sync's toy dolls that they used in their video. I still keep his card in my office, on the back it says "Let this guy in" - he gave it to me to hand to Security at Lotus Club.

I can tell you when that shit fell it was biblical. You literally could not see past Canal Street, it looked like a curtain fell on the city of roiling smoke.

We went down to Soho but that was as far as I could go.
