I want my wife to either stop using smartphones or divorce, how do I approach this gracefully?

I concluded that smartphones are the source of all evil, and it's very hard to ban them from your life and their perils when your wife is constantly doom scrolling through tik tok with max volume and your entire home atmosphere is constantly polluted with these distracting sounds, and mini rants from influencers talking in extremely irritating cadences and intonations, the sounds and seeing someone sit there like a zombie, feeling your resentment grow into a palpable smog

the only way out of this is being single, because women will forever hide behind "i need a phone to communicate with my family" even though that makes up less than 10% what they use it for.

How do I get out of this hell?

lol having to loudly see/hear *someone else* catatonically scrolling through endless amounts of attention/shock response seeking social media can be quite annoying.

i think the that's the point of it...lots of money into keeping people on the most societal approved addictive drug ever conceived. at times might make you wanna go live out in the middle of nowhere without electricity.

phones are a lot more addictive than laptops, because you never shut them off and put them away, they're always on (for most people), always connected, and there's always some reason to pick them up again, be it a notification, wanting to use the camera, wanting to use the alarm or timer function, GPS, etc

it's the most insidious device ever created
