So Franchise owners are just DoorDash drivers on steroids….

Corporate finds every way to fuck them over and steal from them. Using the corporate resources and a false application of legal terms to make the relationship extremely parasitic. It’s just on a different scale.

Imagine being a millionaire and still allowing yourself to get rammed through by a corporation. I can understand poor people who might be desperate exposing themselves to this type of molestation by driving for dooordash, but what incentive does someone who can afford a franchise, have to enter that relationship? Is it just naive ignorance?

yeah. franchises are a nightmare. the problem is they can unilaterally change the terms. big scandal at subway where corp would encourage openings....wait til they were profitable...start finding even the smallest faults with franchisee...boot franchisee, then take back franchise under corp ownership.

actually worse, the regional mgr could find faults and overtake the store for his own self.

I'd read some of those horror stories and am still perplexed why there aren't more murderers in the world. i mean someone fucks with your dog/kid/family...murder. someone intentionally screws you out of life-saving...murder.

I think its a white thing. white people can get megacucked and don't do revenge murder, maybe even most people dont ...but man it would be very very hard not to in certain situations. I mean no one lives forever anyways, might as well murder & then die with a clean conscious.
